Many things in life are too good to be true, but amazingly this fuel discount program IS true and it IS good! It is a debit card,

not a credit card. It cost NOTHING to start, NOTHING to hold and NOTHING to maintain the card.
This card is accepted by “MOST” of the big boy diesel truck stops such as Loves, T/A and Petro. IT IS FOR DIESEL ONLY, pumped in the diesel truck lanes. It WILL NOT work for gasoline.
The Open Roads (TSD Logistics) Fuel Card will work at most large truck stops and allow fuel dispensing at the pump. This will eliminate having to visit the truck stop cashier. When you are done fueling, your EFS Card account will be debited. You just have to keep in mind you WILL NOT be getting a fuel discount at locations NOT SHOWN as participating in the Open Roads Application location map. We have fueled up at non-participating stations four times in three years! THE CARD WILL WORK at any fueling location that accepts the Open Roads EFS transaction card,

and start the pumps for you to fuel up. You will just NOT be getting a fuel discount, and will be paying the pump price at these locations.
Your vehicle MUST be able to accept the large diameter, high volume, delivery nozzles at each of the pumps. Being able to get the same pricing that used to be available only at the mom & pop gas stations off the beaten path makes for a much quicker, AND SAFER REFUELING STOP for you while saving a ton of dough. The truck stops are designed for large rigs! You can be better assured your fuel will be fresh due to the volumes pumped at these locations. And you will have plenty of room to maneuver your big rig without worry of body damage getting in and out!
When you are a Open Roads (TSD Logistics) customer, you too will qualify for the referral program bonus of $25 CREDIT posted to your fueling account for recommending it to your friends and acquaintances.
Many folks have replied to Sue & I that they connected their EFS fuel card to draw from a separate checking account they maintain, and only carry a balance in that account to cover 3 or 4 fuel stops. This is a great idea if you are extra security conscious.
Open Roads (TSD Logistics) offers a customer referral incentive for people like Sue & I to tell you about this program to increase their customer base, purchasing volume and buying power for us all. They are confident, when folks use their program, we will become ambassadors for their EFS Fuel Card Program. They were right!
As a show of support to Sue & Mark for bringing this program to your attention, and explaining the details of how it works, we would appreciate you listing us in the referral space provided on the standard application form,

. or use our custom link below:
Using this link will let Open Roads (TSD Logistics) know you heard about their awesome, "must have" program from Sue & I!
      apply.myopenroads.com/r/ourjourney
******* Please refer: “Our Journey In Myles” ********
You will need to set up an EFS “APP" PIN NUMBER (that you supply, at sign up, online, that’s 4 digits) that you will have to enter when you use the EFS Smart Phone Application. This helps you locate fuel stops, see current pricing and see all your transaction activities.
The APP is really simple to use and find diesel locations to up fill at. This APP will show you what you REALLY just paid at the pump! The pump WILL NOT display your ultimate discounted price. The “TSD Specific” app that has been created is called “Open Roads”.
      At the pump,
.you will have to use A DIFFERENT NUMBER,

...your EFS Card “CONTROL” number. Open Roads (TSD Logistics) will supply the number, and will also be four digits, and will MOST LIKELY be the last 4 of your SS#.
The card DOES NOT work at the Car / RV Lanes of the major truck stops. It works only where the big boy trucks fuel up. (This tells you it is the real McCoy)

I love my EFS card! I also do what you do to find the best price for fuel on the route I'm taking. I have found TA offers the best price most of the time. Funny thing happened to us recently at a TA. The entire travel center ran out of fuel. Both Diesel and regular gasoline. That's the first time I have ever had that happen. On the same trip in North Carolina a severe storm hit the area we scheduled to stop for fuel and the TA as well as every business in the area lost power. So the TA was essentially shut down. We went to the next exit that had a Love's station. We noticed everyone there was out of power except the Loves. After I fueled up I went inside to ask if they lost power in that storm. Turns out they did for a few seconds until their generator went on. They told me many Loves stations have generators so if anyone runs into that issue look for a Loves.

Hey John. The folks that have your same concern usually assign an old semi dormant (or brand new) checking or savings account to the Open Roads (TSD) accounting system, and keep a minimum of "three fill up" amounts in the account so it never gets overdrawn. Our last fill up on November 29th 2022 in Coachella CA at a T/A saved us $1.24 OFF the per gallon pump price. With a 150 gallon tank, that is nothing to sneeze at!

Thanks for another informative video. It looks like you have a fun travel schedule ahead and I can't wait to see the videos. One concerned I've heard people have with the fuel cards is that you have to give your banking information to them. If you have that concern you can always open a completely separate checking account (many banks offer them for free) and only keep enough money to pay your fuel bill in it. I bet you have your card set up that way to protect the $$millions you are getting from the OJIM channel 😀.

    • @OurJourneyInMyles
      @OurJourneyInMyles  Pƙed 2 lety +1

We think that is the best way to hook up with the program! All kidding aside, if folks knew how little money their favorite channels made from CZcams, they would pay more attention to using their True Number 1 Favorite Channels "Amazon Link" to help with the yearly expenses. It costs them nothing, and will keep the channel motivated. This year, with fuel prices, I would expect a lot of CZcams Travel Channels ending. Only the chosen big three or four are making a killing. They do not need that much help!!!

Judy and I were planning to venture up to the motherland in Northern Illinois and Wisconsin from Florida this summer, but all the concerns I have been hearing, I am thinking staying closer to home here. And yes, I have been on the fence about getting the TSD card, but now, there is no question in doing so
we will make sure to use your link. Thanks.

    • @OurJourneyInMyles

Basically, fuel has gone up about $2/gallon. We have had no issues finding fuel. The north east is the area with a few issues apparently. We typically only travel about 6500 miles per year, but lucky me, this year may be more. At 6.5 miles per gallon, that is 1000 gallons, or $2000 MORE than usual. The 401k is going to get a little lighter this year! I have to CONTINUE to travel while I can. I will SIT when I have to! Thanks for the referral Ken. Order the card WAY before you need it. I stayed there 3 years ago when my granddaughter was born in Burbank. I was back there in mid April to help my Son move from Burbank to Hendersonville, Tennessee. I have a 2001 Foretravel U320, I was parked next to a 1991 Foretravel Gran Villa. It was very interesting comparing a decade of evolution between the two. Most folks just create a stand alone checking account to draw from. The EFS company doing the actual accounting is no different than Visa or Mastercard. They need the SS# for collections only. They are on the hook for up to 250 gallons on some of the big boy motorhomes! That is a chunk of change.

The inflationary problems are worldwide. If you think it's only a Biden/US problem, better wake up & get real.
