My girlfriend and I went to a show in the basement of a dirty VFW in Minneapolis to go see Seahaven with a bunch of openers we didn't know. While standing outside waiting for the doors to open, we look down the alley and see 3 people standing in an abandoned field. One was playing the trumpet but that's all we could hear. We didn't think much of it and proceeded to have our minds blown at the show. The way that this band captured the whole crowd of 50-75 people in a packed basement and held their attention was something I had not seen the likes of. 2 years later and I still re-watch this video and think about how much this band has influenced me.
Everything about this video is perfect. The camera feedback when he screams in the second verse, his falsettos, his Weezer shirt, and even how wobbly the low e string is when he his that e minor chord.
