I forgot how good this game looked! Those chase sequences could have been from a DS game.
Imaging if the 3D view was used going forward for the whole game as well as some 2D platforming here and there. That would have been one of the most ambitious games on the system!
Intresting concept for the upcoming Garage Game Builder for Switch.
The chase and flying pack stages looks pretty nice for GBA standards, I would say that they did a good job at making this game.
Detractors like to call the GBA a glorified SNES but the GBA CPU ran at half the clock speed of the PS1. It was even capable of 3D polygon graphics despite no dedicated 3D hardware. Someone even has the original Tomb Raider running at 15-20FPS on the GBA.

adkenna it's a nice game but it is absolutely nowhere even close to Warped's level of creativity. It's a one and done kind of game, whereas Warped I could happily play repeatedly for the rest of my life.
This game is my childhood. I remember playing this game all day everyday. Even my mom! My mom would get mad at me when I would continue on from her save. Ah memories.

Jaramicah Gonzales so was Solid Snake. All Metal Gear games were on PlayStation but he ended up in brawl. There's probably more to it since I don't know everything but I'm just assuming that anyone can be part of smash bros, as long as Nintendo and Sakurai acquire the rights.

Love how it mixes Crash 2 and 3 levels in it, if only they had made Crash like this for consoles. Crash needs an HD release; the whole 1 2 and 3 in a package.

Both Huge Adventure and N-Traced were really impressive with its 3D sections, i would really like to see these games remastered in some way.

I’m 14 currently & I become 15 in a couple months but this really was my childhood. I almost teared up when I heard all these nastalgic sounds. This would be one of the many games I beat over & over again & now that I get to watch it all over again makes me so happy since I broke my game boy as a kid

Story about this game. When I was really little like 5 or 6 in 2003 my papaw got me a solid purple gameboy advanced and i thought it was best thing in the world because I'd never had anything like of before, I was used to just playing with old toys or things I found in the woods. I stayed with my grandparents a lot because my parents were all over the place wasn't a good situation. I brought it home with me and my dad took it, he played it constantly. I asked him once if I could take a turn and for some reason that infuriated him and he picked me up and threw me against the wall and screamed at me. I never asked to play it again and I have no idea what happened to it 🤣 10/10 childhood memories 🤣🤣
I hope you are able to find a purple GBA and this game someday and it gives you a good feeling of nostalgia 😊 I'm sad that happened.

I think this was my first Crash game before I got the combo pack of Twinsanity, Tag Team Racing, and Nitro Kart for the PS2... just seeing this game again is nostalgic! I used to bring my gameboy all the time and play this when I went to stores and still play it. :p

GBA Crash games aren't bad, but there were not much diligence in making them. Reusing graphics from 3D-games, no unique boss battle arenas, too many same-themed levels, no surprising ideas. You know, PS1 games were pretty simple, but each level was unique in it's own way and interesting. GBA games could have been mych better if Naughty Dog made them.
Well, it wasn't possible for Naughty Dog to make them anyway.

tom lawrence Limitations didn't prevent Sega from making 3 awesome Sonic Advance games with totally new sprites, original level themes and awesome game mechanics. It was possible to make a great Crash game on GBA, but the developers didn't care much.
MetalHimera First of all, Sonic was a 2d platformer, so it was easy for DIMPS, not SEGA to cut some corners. Crash was always 3d, and it was nearly impossible to make a 3d Crash game on handhelds until Crash of the titans for the DS.
tom lawrence As you see, 2D-Crash worked pretty well. I don't have any complains about game mechanics (it's done pretty well), I just have complains about uncreative level-design, reused graphics and general lack of originality.

Epic TAS level stuff
The platinum relics for the flying levels are quite difficult. You have to hit all the time boxes and be very accurate with the zeppelin targets, because you easily lose time on these segments.
