    Yesterday I tried and came out well. In Kerala we make in coconut oil, which gives a more shelf life.
    But then it won't keep for long as it is tastier.,,😃

      Shambu Lingesh Do it gently. It does make a noise but do not explode. You are not pouring too much in it.

    Hello, how can we do industrial plantain ships which will stay crispy and sweets for 3 or 6 months ?
    Should we add conservatives ? Please help me every one

      Nope no need for preservatives. Just make sure they are fried on until crispy dried and drain the oil on paper.. another tip- use unripe or almost ripe banana but not ripe banana

    The sliced banana needs to be rinsed in water to removed the stickiness... thats how nendran banana chips ( or Calicut chips) is actually made....

      @@sarath6507 no need to double fry just heat the pan in medium flame thn fry till crunchy sound if ur flame is high it will be burn thn once take it out dont store a chips into box wait for few more minutes let it be cool thn u can store thts it . if you follow these method u can prepare ur banana chips .
