The SAT is a standardized test that aims to measure students' knowledge of math, reading, and writing, as well as their college and university readiness.
The SAT is an entrance exam used by most colleges and universities to make admissions decisions. The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test created and administered by the College Board.
When is the optimal time to take the SAT?
Most high school students opt to take the SAT, the ACT, or both in the spring of their junior year or the fall of their senior year. It's crucial to allocate time for potential retakes if necessary to improve your score before college applications. The SAT is administered nationally in August, October, November, December, March, May, and June each year. Check the schedule for upcoming SAT test dates.

The SAT consists of two sections:
    Math
    Evidence-Based Reading and Writing
What is the duration of the SAT?
The SAT lasts for a total of 3 hours.
    How are SAT scores determined?
Each section of the SAT is graded on a scale of 200 to 800 points. Your overall SAT score is the sum of your scores in both sections. The maximum attainable SAT score is 1600.
The SAT Math section explores a diverse array of mathematical concepts. It commences with fundamental topics such as algebra, geometry, and elementary trigonometry, which are typically covered in ninth and tenth grades. As the test progresses, it delves into more advanced areas like Algebra II, higher-level geometry, and even touches upon some precalculus. While the SAT Math section is generally considered manageable, it necessitates a solid understanding of these concepts to navigate successfully.
