I noticed the anchor tape around the midfoot slides up because of the elasticky skin on my foot. So it loses the support. Any solutions?

why would not want it to be flexed slightly?
Late reply but if your foot is slightly flexed when taping the tape won’t be as effective, if you want tighter tape you should leave your foot in neutral or point your foot a little

Probably only when you plan on using it for heavy activity. Turf toe heals in weeks if you don't have a severe extension.
