- In my first day in Jakarta I made sure to check out this market which was not too far from where I was staying in Central Jakarta. This place truly beautiful with so many antic and modern items for a reasonable price. Most importantly I met friendly shop owner who was so happy to show me the items and explain their shop.

Wow..bazaar exploration in Jakarta. Your Gojek driver was trying to tell you he is 62 yrs old. The wood carving you like is from Jogja, and not the name of the wood...some miscommunication there 😄😄. Those "wayang kulit" puppets are very pretty! I guess its difficult to get smaller masks, but probably at other markets. Hahaha..aggressive bargaining, but eventually Davud will give more...thats his style of donating ....coffee for everyone and some extra money for the coffee man too.
