Nicest one I've seen yet.
❤
Great job I'm building one just like it I have watched this video several times
Thank you for posting … best diy lift
Great job!
Very clever design!
Awesome job. Something to think 🤔 about. Great job 👏
Great share!
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
The inside of my bracket’s measurement is 1 13/16.
very clever design. you should consider applying for a patent and selling design to Werner for a few million.
Im inspired by this design 😮
Nice build. But, you probably need to replace the top rung of the ladder with square steel tubing maybe 1/8" thick. Otherwise, with any load the top rung will bend and eventually break.
If that’s the case, then anyone over 150lbs going up the ladder would break a ladder rung.
If he doesn’t go over the weight limit of the ladder it should be fine. Maybe for piece of mind put a solid piece of angle across the top so it doesn’t pull in on itself. If your lifting anything 100lbs or under it should work flawlessly without damaging the ladder imo.
With the ladder at that angle sitting on concrete if you lift the shingles past the fascia it will kick out. Nice design tho
Nice job!
Need to set up ladder at 75 degree angle for maximum stability and safety
Nice Job... How about some links to where you bought parts....
I bought these parts from The Home Depot and the lifter from Amazon. Have fun with this project.
Would you be able to post a link to the bearings you used from Amazon?
Oops..I see you put it at the end of the video.
It is true that you can only use it in a period of 2 minutes and you must let it rest for a period of 8 minutes to be able to use it again.?
No, it is not true. I can use it for one hour without resting.
How do you remove it when you finish and how to mount it when you need it?
Remove four nuts secured the hoist then unhook cable
What hoist did you use sir?

You can get a cheaper from Harbor Freight
What do you do for a 2 story home
You can buy a longer ladder.
@@0202hcauq I understand that but how do you join the 2 ladders together to climb up on the rails
@@7628739 I am sorry I don't know.
I saw they sell a 30' ladder with a hoist for around $2500.
You'd have to buy a 40' ladder. I use a 40' ladder for a scaffolding plank I put a 20' wood plank on top. I just wouldn't have more than 1 person on it at a time, but that's all I do for professional planks as well. It's always been very sturdy and I can do a 40' walk way near the roof edge.
