This team isnt as talented as Panthers. There was nothing wrong with goalie rotation in regular season. It helped save Swayman for playoffs. Monty & Sweeney are wimps for not calling out refs and taking a fine.
Regular season and playoffs are like two different sports.
Having players who can elevate during the playoffs is what we need in boston. Cmon lets go

Typical Bruins season. Great record and fold like cheap suit case in playoffs. This is third coach who has failed. Maybe the architect of team is at fault. Can’t make chicken salad out of chicken salad-t. Regular season players. Compete level can’t elevate for playoffs.

Yes. They over achieved last year by 45 points. This year they over achieved by 20 points. If it wasn’t for goaltending they would have had 50% chance at wild card both years.
Bruins needed a center at the deadline..the goaltending kept them at the top..lets hope at least one last night they do it again

If Monty should be fired for anything it’s his lack of adjustments. The players aren’t going rogue out there. They’re following his instructions. They never try getting out of their zone differently and they never forecheck deep with more than one player. Yes, the talent is mid, but scheme and will can override talent and the coaches factor into it.

You guys really don’t get it. It’s simple. Season you can play east west no problem. Come playoffs you have to go north south smash mouth hockey. Paul Maurice can switch the guys but Jim can’t or the players just won’t. So they’ll lose.
Omg what's wrong with him. Don sweeney had no money and put together a team that is still playing. Look at the players the Bruins lost. Not to mention the greatest two way forward ever to play.
