I personally really like the focus mode feature that lets you have separate home screens, along with a similar automation setup to yours. I have a main home screen that has a few of my most used apps and then various more specialized home screens that can be accessed with the different focus modes. Might be a little extra, but I really like it.
The shortcut I use regularly is: Boiling eggs
I programmed it like this:
Click Boil eggs
Choose: hard, medium or soft egg
And then it sets the right timer for me!

The When to Leave is useless. Your calendar can already do that. Also no point setting up automation for focus modes. Focus mode already does that in Settings - it lets you choose when they get activated. Don’t need to invent the wheel in Shortucts.
Love the nfc use. We have been using them for shopping lists. But the tracker is a brilliant idea 🎉

My most used automation is to trigger low battery mode when charge decreases below 50% (and vice versa), definitely slowing down deterioration of my battery

@@somethingsafootYes, he is correct, there are some CZcams videos explaining why low power mode kills your battery. You should only activate it when the charge drops below 20%.
To maintain the device battery health the best way is to keep the battery percentage between 20-80.
This is super handy! Unfortunately I can’t get the ETA text to work
if you aren’t worried about data usage you can turn off wifi and then keep data on but turn off that specific app’s cellular data accessibility so that way you still have internet but no ads on the app
What if i want to use a different currency in the tip/split shortcut?
click wifi and click see password and you can see any wifi you have connected to

"When I shoot a photo or video, it should be automatically add into specific album[other than "Recent"] in Photos app"
isn't it life saver!
« When (camera) is (opened) » + « Get (number) most recent pictures » + « Save (most recent pictures) in (folder name) »

Just wondering, what’s the point of the WiFi QR code one if you have to find the WiFi password and put it in the shortcut every time you want to turn it into a QR code, at that point you might as well just make them type the password instead of you.
Under the config settings you can predefine your password
Where is that setting? I cannot find the option and it will be very useful to be able to do it to use the shortcut
@@lancerevo1983 Press "show more" on the option "What is your Wi-Fi Name" and "What is the password for SSID". You'll find a "default answer"
If the guest can see wifi info then they will be able to see the password.

I have setup an automation to clear the alarm list from disabled alarms at a given time. At least this way I avoid this mess 1:28

If the iPhone is supposed to be so great, why do we have to turn our cell service off when we get home when the stupid phone should know that when you have a chance to use Wi-Fi never use cellular. What the heck this is the dumbest thing I ever heard.
It does already do this. He is ensuring the phone doesnt accidentally switch over to cellular should he go out of range of his router or if its broadcast gets interrupted, or if the wifi service signal drops below the signal level of the cellular signal which would prompt an automatic switch over. Not to mention the active monitoring of all that in the background takes battery life.
You need to decrease your talking speed. Coupled with your heavy Spanish accent, it’s difficult to understand what’s being said.
Also zoom in the camera when explaining automations, else it’s difficult to understand steps involved in automation.
Playback speed to 0.75x and call it a day... have no issues watching him on 1.5x and digesting the content.
It's hard to please everyone, I also think i speak too fast but then I also get comments saying they watch me at 1.5 speed. Also, I can't even speak Spanish 😅

Your speaking speed is just fine. I think a lot of people can't process audio too fast. I myself get bored with slow speakers. Your pace is good.
