Woah I have a question After doing ur spice tolerance challenge..if ur hands gets spicy by touching the spice what do u do that time?how do u prevent them?
It actually looks like she did cut the ones where it looked like they bent where there was still nice edible parts of the ends. You can tell when it’s on her plate she has smaller pieces that weren’t the tips. So I think she ended up cutting some so it didn’t waste good parts. Also, Lisa’s not known to waste ANYTHING! I’ve been subscribed to her for a while and she’s always pulling things out of her fridge before they go bad to make something.
Yeah, and if you wanna go a step further to not waste food, just cut an inch off the end, then use a peeler to take off a bit of the fibrous outside near the bottom. At the end of the day tho, the whole thing is edible. It's just up to how you use it that determines if you want to eat it or not. You could use the nice top half for what she did here, and then chop and blend the rest to use in soup. Or thinly slice and then blanch it to make a cool salad.
This totally reminded me of the "bend & snap" from Legally Blonde, also!!! 🤣 I recently tried asparagus in the oven with minced garlic, salt & pepper, and fresh grated parmesan cheese atop. It was delicious!!! 🤤 Try it sometime!
Just a note! My mom nearly killed me the last time I snapped asparagus like that. It’s kind of a waste, and you’re throwing away good, edible parts of the asparagus. No hate, it looked amazing, but I think people do that for aesthetic reasons (getting rid of the white part of the asparagus). Just my take! Love your videos! ❤️
Lisa what you need to do is you need to take little sausages like Small ones and wrap them in bacon put then put tooth pick in them place them in a pan with butter and brown sugar then bake for how ever long you want and enjoy promise you will love them
Finally I’ve cook asparagus in a proper way thanks to you. Before it was kinda a mess😂 Thank youuu for the recipe I love it easy to do well difficult to master

Tip for lemons: keep the cut side up and squeeze. That way the seeds do not drop in. Thank you, Rachel Ray! 😁
Another lemon tip: roll them with your hand on a flat surface before cutting. It breaks the tendons in the lemon and you get more juice that way!
@@hehehe5307 and one more tip - stick a fork into the lemon half to get more of the juice out! 🍋
And one more tip: you can cut the lemon in half before you squeeze it
Lemon tendons 🤣
Me just here minding my business*learning lemon tips* 🍋🍋
Just ate pizza an hour ago and now seeing this I'm hungry 😳
I would like your comment but you have 69 likes
Just sawed this and I’m hungry as well
Ah yes my favorite unit of measuring time ✨stomach growls✨
"Once my stomach started growling from the aroma..."
That should be the only acceptable kitchen timer. ⏲️
Most people: Add it when it starts becoming golden brown
Lisa: "When my stomach starts growling"
So the bending thing is a total myth and you end up with a lot more waste than you really needed. Just cut the ends off with a knife and enjoy.
Exactly. She wasted all that perfectly good asparagus

You truly have such an elevated palate Lisa. I love how you crave garlic.
I'm craving garlic now... It's literally midnight and I am starving. XD
Lisa's time measurement to see if the garlic is cooked: when your stomach growls
😆😂
Lm; ,
I know you eat a lot of spicy food, but do you like sweet food?
Good question!
This totally reminded me of the "bend & snap" from Legally Blonde, also!!! 🤣

Yeah this method breaks off so much perfectly good asparagus that's past the "snap" line and it makes me sad to see it all going to waste
