I don’t agree that Blade Runner 2049 was bad, if you just take it in as a stand alone film. As a proper sequel to one of the great movies it should never have been made.

I would agree with you on Jay because he is a huge hipster that only likes very snobby cinema. Mike definitely loves Star Trek and eventually checked out of Star Wars, but unfortunately, overall their tastes in movies are largely focused on very niche films. That’s fine and that’s very nerdy of them but they have lost a lot of their love for more mainstream stuff and should just be honest that they don’t care and just ignore those releases if they are gonna be so flippant and ignorant about what they are and why people love them. Especially when it comes to SW and superheroes.
