+Freelancer Agent Maine well, i dont deny that performance wise, but even so, the longstrike isnt a performance hog either, and he said it was an aesthetic blaster too. I think with some good modding, the centurion is fine. cosmetically its excellent, and you can replace the long plunger with compressed air, and its at least on par with a modded longstrike with a tank.

While the Centurion may have superior stock range, it has many flaws. The darts that come out of the Centurion are quite inaccurate, and if you were to go into a nerf war with one, you'd probably end up being an easy target because of how long the blaster is (you can't detach the front). On the other hand, the Longshot and Longstrike can be easily modded to reach ranges similar to the Centurion, whereas the Centurion takes a bit more patience to mod due to its size.
Nonetheless, I love all three blasters because single-fire bolt-action blasters are the best, in my opinion.

The Centurion really is the Longstrike's successor: flashy, but doesn't reach its advertised range. Oh and a lot of problems too.

I actually agree with you in regards to your final question, on which blaster to use now and which one to mod. I've never really had the supplies to mod due to the constant moving around that I do, but now that I've heard your thoughts and ideas, I actually miss my Longshot CS-6; I auctioned mine off in an event for my brother's co-workers in it's stock-form. I wonder what it could've been turned into, had I kept it?

I recently salvaged a Longstrike that was discarded where I work. It did not have the barrel extension or sights but it’s in great condition otherwise and shoots like it was new. I am definitely looking forward to modding it and see what potential it holds.

A buddy of mine modded out a long strike to the point where the only original parts left were the pieces of the shell. He more or less turned it into a full blown air rifle that he dubbed "The Barrel Buster" and it was able to shoot a good 120-ish feet with surprisingly decent accuracy using his own custom made darts. He also gave it an amazing paint job to make it look like a sort of sci-fi sniper rifle. If I had to guess, the whole project probably set him back at least two hundred dollars.
Stock I would use a tristrike but I am a modder myself and I actually am about to integrate a Magnus into a zombiestrike Longshot,I am still debating on what the name should be thoe

I want to make a direct plunger long strike with a full brass breach stretching the entire length of the barrel extension, I would need a super strong spring to clear that barrel but it would be awesome

I literally just bought the longstrike, just because of the looks. I put a modulus camo scope on it and the modulus bipod and it looks super sweet. I do wish it shot a bit harder. I just shoot targets around my apartment so it doesn't have to shoot super hard. Elite springers work just fine and I run my stryfe and rapidstrike with just two IMR's.
I'm gonna see if I can get a few more fps out of it just so I can use it comfortably around the house.

+LordDraconical no you do. a magazine can hold a clip of ammo. a clip is an ammo holder that is inserted into a magazine, commonly seen on WWII bolt action rifles, the 'stripper clip'. a clip canNOT feed ammo into the weapon on its own. magazines have ammo 'pushers' that feeds the next round into the chamber. google m16 magazine, then google m1 garand clip and analyze the vast difference between the two things.

jacob M Having both the longshot and longstrike, I find the LongSHOT better. It doesn't take that much effort to make it a beast. Simply take out the Air Restrictor, add or replace the spring, take out the unecessary locks, and bam done. you have a powerful blaster. Longstrike is stock reverse plunger (which sucks) and has very little usable air.

Its a magazine because of the spring pushing up the platform to raise the projectile, allowing darts to reach the firing point.
i found an un-opened pack of streamlines in my storage room, and I threw them in my old alpha trooper and jammed it on the first shot, on the bright side, my stryfe works!

i feel like you should have added the modulus longstrike with the white and green style paintjob from amazon bc it has a beefed up internals and preforms way better than the og longstrike but great vid keep it up!

I have a long shot minus front gun. And a longstrike that I plan on repainting for a Fallout Cosplay, I’m also dropping in a 5k spring from Orange mod works because the kid who I bought it off of didn’t take a great care for it and it barley gets the darts out.
