Is it just me or does that “you people are so petty, and tiny” scene feel so awkwardly shot?
That's super intentional; the mind stone is manipulating them, so it's shot in a way that feels unnatural and uneasy.
yeah and if you revisit the scene, there's a part where the camera literally revolves with the mind stone as its center. Not only is the mind stone the thing upon which the plot revolves, the camera also literally revolves upon it.
another way of reading that stylistic choice is that the mind stone influenced the avengers, heightening their antagonism towards each other and figuratively turning their teamwork upside-down, all while the camera literally turns the scene upside down.
and also, like the previous commenter said, it gives us the subconscious feeling of "something doesn't feel right here."
