I love the wild multi-coloured outfit Yasmeen models at 3.18 6:18 Versace was so creative and different. There is no doubt that Yasmeen Ghouri was a superb super model. I liked most of the supermodels back then they were so good at their jobs and looked healthy and beautiful.

Thanks so much for compiling the astonishing Yasmeen upon the catwalk. Many say that Naomi Campbell was Yasmeen's superior but I say 'Puh'! Yasmeen Ghauri featured couture upon the runway. The clothes. Naomi had the walk, sure: hiding the fact that her arms were too long- her knuckles near grazed the ground I say, but she distracted all from this defect with lots of 'flap' turning at the elbow, especially at the wrists, the hands... but besides that. Naomi wasn't about featuring couture, the clothes upon the runway. Naomi was all about featuring herSELF! Always fiddling and diddling. Diddle. Diddle. Diddle. With arm straps, loose earrings, purses and the sort, whatNOT and whatEVER to draw attention to herSELF on the catwalk. Well. Discerning eyes know better. Yasmeen, on the other hand, a first of her ethnicity upon the runway: people forget, was first, second and always Luxury CLASS! Note. Was there anyone better who could remove a coat or wrap better than Yasmeen? No. Certainly not! Further note. Watch what Yasmeen does featured in the above video NAILING the removal of a pair of sunglasses. Watch her. After removing them from her face, she swings them indifferently at her fingertips, her hand extended at the wrist and outwards towards an audience who are visibly gasping that she hadn't dropped them during such a daring move. Yes! They are gasping. Look at them. See them! They are all just born astonished watching Yasmeen orchestrate ALL of this uber cool maneuver just moments prior to mid turn at the end of the runway featuring... Featuring, in ADDITION, Yasmeen's casual shrug of her shoulder accompanied by a haughty lift of an eyebrow glancing at the hoi polloi seated below her! Beneath HER! Now then. This is Versace which Yasmeen is selling. This is ATTITUDE! Attitude which Naomi wouldn't DARE attempting to exude without a laff track to accompany a grade school try. I shake my head. I do. I really, really do. The fact that this beautiful woman: whom I am proud to state is Canadian as well as Shalom Harlow and icon Linda Evangelista, has been so neglected the catwalk, runway, and icon status which Naomi has acquired is an outright disgrace I say. To repeat, utilizing another word, it is an Outrage! We mortals have to thank the heavens that there is visual, that future generations can view, discern and determine, hands and i-phones down for themselves that Yasmeen Ghauri IS the better than that also-ran Naome-me-me in the catwalk sweepstakes! Yes. Bingo! Yasmeen. Your beauty, your walk, your grace, your EVERYTHING will be truly recognized by future generations to be truly touched by God and the fashion industry is all the better for it. Hey! Hey! Yasmeen Rules! Yasmeen.... ForEVER!
i totally agree with you, yasmeen totally put herself together with the outfit with her appropriate posture and facial expression ; she makes an ordinary ppl like me throw all my old clothing and learn about fashion; but hen I see Naomi, I only can sense her good body and that all; yasmeen body curve is god-given but Naomi is like gym-training type; and yasmeen can be so versatile: can can be sexy/ cool/ elegant/office-lady esp the vintage-look which Naomi can not achieve!

Love the critique! It's very pointed in describing the nuances and sheer skill of Yasmeen's catwalk. She truly was a master of her craft! However, the bit about Naomi's "knuckles near grazed the ground" is racist, even if I agree with you that Naomi does come across as showcasing herself more so than the clothing...
