I think these are my top cast choices. Like if you asked me to design an episode.
Tilly's utterly fantastic, whatever you put her in, and cares about the game enough for it to be "seriously fun". She has such a sharp wit and humour about her.
I truly appreciate how deeply Ken thinks about every game's rules and win conditions yet still wears his learning lightly and has a laugh.
And of course, there's a reason the other 3 are core members - but I think Sully might be my spirit animal.
This was surprisingly close considering some major rules errors that made it nightmare-hard for the survivors. (It should have been kind of clear that locking down 4/5 spaces in turn1 can't be the game's intent) Well played!

It was not a save win. Sullivan could have drawn a survivor card that cancels the monster. Unfortunately they stopped mid-phase :(
Pretty sure Laurie's using the Virus power incorrectly. It should only target two adjacent spaces, not place the Artemia token down and then target two spaces adjacent to it.
Yes, it should essentially be placed in-between two cards, where the gap is. Not on-top of another card. Meaning you can't create an L shape.
I came to the comments specifically because I was thinking "let's see how Laurie misread the rules to help him today". Every single time he's the monster the rules are stacked towards him. He interpret rules as "how can it help me the most".

@@buffoonery4649 I feel pretty vindicated about first time games - We ALWAYS get something wrong, no matter how many times the rules were read. Round two is always better, and by game 4, almost everything is sorted. If a game can withstand 4 rounds of playing and is still fun, it's worth playing more.
@@littlenikke Very true, especially if the rules have strange wording or are slightly ambiguous. I honestly don't mind them messing up the rules most the time as I watch for THEM, not for the game they are playing. That being said, I think it would be a good idea to have the players check the rule book individually if they are confused about something - rather than having to rely on just one person to remember all the details. It's no surprise Laurie gets stuff wrong sometimes, he has played hundreds of games lol.
With the number of mistakes favoring the creature, hunted crew had no chances 😅

I do have to also comment on adjacency rules. You put the token between two spaces next to each other (horizontally or vertically), and those are the ones targeted by the effect

upd: a few mistakes were made as others pointed out too:
- misuse of virus(Tilly was right! -_-),
- players running out of will not regaining their cards(they should get all their cards back, they've suffered enough -_-)

this kind of game benefits from early domination. takes a few games to sort thing out, because it's actually pretty well balanced. I feel pretty good that we almost always get thing's wrong the first times, even on 'basic' games. Switch teams, share rules... the competition is really fun!
Hell yeah. I love this game. It got me through Covid with my friends. We played absolute hours of this game on BGA.
Finally had time to catch up, this was such a good one!!

have you heard of Black Mold? it’s a co-op game (as cooperative as you want to be though) about escaping a mold infested prison and has interesting mechanics like having to hold your breath as you work out a puzzle

Actually the "Flashback" card needs you to put the Artemia token in between 2 adjacent cards to target both. Not on a single card plus 2 extra ^u^

the opening clips are always a nice touch, but the subtitles added are in a weird spot (a little too down low). they get covered up by the pop up from when you hover over the video. i think it would be worth it to move them up a little so they dont get covered up!
That is perfectly accurate that we should not have to pay service workers their living wage. We should not be expected to tip. However, that also doesn't mean order and don't tip. That is exploiting cheap labor. Either you handle take away yourself, or you don't order from them.

I agree , the only real benefit they offer is location spoofing which you can get from free software , having the benefit of not holding your card information when they inevitably get hacked
I agree, but I also think that if you are going to buy something - especially something you are buying in an attempt to keep yourself safe, you should do your own research on it first. VPNs like this are useful for certain situations in regards to safety, but the average person really doesn't need one.
