NEW SUBSCRIBER. Watched your work on the "A". What? Cutting a tree with no safety glasses or hearing plugs. I'm near 80. You're my kind of guy. A lot of old times were careless in trash disposal. Great stuff and looking for more! EAGLEGARDS...
Jordan that was great been watching from your first video and the farm went from sustainable to a nice farm you took out and added and cleaned up but it is a work in progress very nice as always never miss a video and can't wait for next one
Good job Jordan. The grandfather must of had, a lot of chooks, and eggs, going by the size of the shed? Looking at the old red paint, so many years of fading, one coat of paint every 40 years. 😊
Nice place you have there. It takes a ton of work for sure but so worth it. Your kids will always be thankful they could grow up in a rural setting. I can thankfully speak with experience.
WOW!!! What a difference a bit of TLC did for the chicken house garage. I would paint the trim around the windows, I don't know if Black would be the best choice for the trim, but I sorta think a gray color might be better. But, in the end, it won't really matter because it will all look worlds better than it did with black or gray.
great job love video like this now get some plexoglass for windows to keep bird out ans black trim it will be a great building and an asset to the farmstead!! l will be watchin!!!!
That's still a nice building yet. Just lots of work to clear it out. I like everything you do BUT a red farm building with white trim around the windows and on the doors would be I way I would have went. Plus some new cheap vinyl windows and it's like a new shed Thanks again for this video
@@HumbleAcres Yes a line on the tree was a good idea. However if you look at the video it is clear that the undercut was too small and that stopped the tree from falling over till the hinge or holding wood broke. If the undercut had been much larger with a larger angle it would have likely went pulled over on the first pull and been much safer.
Jordan - oil base or latex paint? Just the one 5 gallon bucket or more? I agree, you should fix up the windows and paint the trim a contrasting color - it'll look really good.
I probably missed it, but what are you storing in here? Maybe all your toyotas? Alot of waterproof shed space, warm weather only unless you insulate it.
I was wondering what your personal "farm" history is??? You don't seem to be a "farm boy",,,, but that is sooooooooooo OK. I'm 64 y.o. and grew up on a farm from 4.y.o. My parents were both from farming families through the depression era and NEVER had any money. I am very impressed with you willingness to fix up the old farm. Would like to see you morf into a useful farming acerage,,,, maybe cows, goats, horses,,, something. My brother and I are still using the family farm for hay production and sales. No animals these days.
So much better. I think the red was a better color than white, but so much better. Trimming out the windows in black would be cool.

Way better then growing up in a city.

I agree, it needs a little contrast.
I think gray with white trim would have been better but it'll look nice with gray trim :)

Nice job. It looks a lot better than it did when you started. 👍
Nice to see good job your doing but not sure how safe it is with Sandals work boots be safer choice in my opinion

I agree on your color choice but have to make the wife happy.
Nice job... That was a lot of work. Maybe you still want to paint the foundation of the building dark?
Maybe but not a priority.
you get Allott done fun to watch , thks
Glad you enjoyed!
Good job. Be sure to share your electrical apprentice adventure with seasoned "sparkies." Consider....used. old, fixer-upper. chipper?.
A chipper would be nice. Fires are cheaper though. Thanks for the suggestion!
Nice work and thank you for sharing with us!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.
@@HumbleAcres your welcome!
Very nice job.
Thank you!
Looks 110% better👍👏
Thanks!
Looks so much better. Good job!
Thanks!
Walnut trees cutting the top out might have some bottom branches come out
A good improvement! At 9:17, looks like your undercut was was way too small of an angle. You are lucky it did not fall back on the building.
The tree was heavily leaning towards the building that’s why I had the rope on it.

@@jimthode I see what you're saying, yes you are probably correct.

I had a total of 15 gallons, I used about 12 gallons. Just latex paint. Pretty cheap paint but better then nothing. Thanks!
I got an idea what if you use a sledgehammer to fix the roof and then replace the window
I probably missed it, but what are you storing in here? Maybe all your toyotas? Alot of waterproof shed space, warm weather only unless you insulate it.
There will be a video tomorrow were you can see.
Lots of work, Jordan -- Stay Safe ! -- Please Pray For The USA !
(BTW -- Where are your logging sandals ? )
Its getting colder here so the safety sandals were put up.
@@HumbleAcres 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You painted the foundation.
Just a little bit.
Why you no say (TIMBER)......🙃

Red was a better color...
Ya I think so too.
The tax man will fly his drone over and turn that $250 in paint into $2500 and make your taxes go up $500.
We will see.
@@HumbleAcres I hope not but thats why I try to avoid fixing things outside or that are noticeable by the taxman.
