Dark soul have taken enough aspects of berserk that if you try, you can experience a berserk anime game
To be honest, each from soft games is just a small aspect of berserk made into a game. They could straight up make 1.
Let FromSoft have it, they can do both. It'll be like elden ring, where the story of the tarnished is really the secondary story to Marika and the world created by the shattering.
Sekiro had a locked character with a story. And they are experts at animating comically colossal swords.
Add a tiny bit of masscombat and more AOE swings and remove the stamina bar and souls/rune system and instead make it a "buff after each boss" kinda thing would be perfect imo.
Knowing the modern video game industry we would get “Puck: a Berserk Saga” like they made that shit Gollum game
And it would be brilliant!!!

Imagine just a really wholesome story within the berserk universe
But we have ELDEN RING. Clearly they can make a Berserk story from it. Nearly ALL of the ASSETS can be taken from it.
I would love to see a game that does that

A videogame based on the world during or leading to the "first" ecltpse (the one that involve skullknight) would be dope.
I disagree with connor only because of the monster design potential, like the amount of designs I have looked at for ages because of how interesting yet horrifying would make for an amazing game in itself that only Berserk can really pull of

Idk I kind of agree that most of what makes berserk great is its story. There is a ton of great world building but I don't think that it would be able to explore everything it has to offer without following guts' story. Most of the monsters that are shown and fought have to be killed with inhuman means so I think it would be pretty hard to make a game about it that's disconnected while still using a lot of the creatures and fantasy elements.
We could get a side story that takes place during Guts's story. There are tons of apostles that appeared during Griffith's decent as femto. Give side characters that have interacted with Guts more lime light as guides, allies, etc. Almost like background events occurring during the main story line.
It would be great if you but the episode number if not a link to it in all of the shorts

Connor is right, Berserk world is basically dark soul, or an average fantasy world it ain't special.
You're not wrong. The horror of the world is not what makes it interesting. Is the action people take that the interesting thing about the comic.
I'd want to play as Guts with the Dragon Slayer tho
You can already do that in every Souls game anyway
There was once this system called a sega dreamcast, that had a berserk game. There is also one for the PS2 and PS3/4

Agree with Connor. Berserk deserves a great anime. Software would make a great Berserk game esthetic wise but can't be 100% sure about the story. Didn't play Sekiro (think they did something there) so dunno.

Well, we do have game like that, Xenoverse 2. You can make a character that is in Dragonball universe.

People want fromsoft to make a bersker game. I think capcom would make it better.
Dark souls has so much Berzerk inside it another Berzerk game is not needed. Also Berzerk manga is not finished and could never be.
This could be cool. No Bandai, NO! Put that Anime Arena Fighter storyboard down and throw it out the window. We got Sparking Zero to tide us over, we don't need another JJK Cursed Clash

Im not npc enough to play in someone elses stories, thats why I kinda distance myself from anime open world or games with existing anime IP because it will ruin the canon or the stories consider as non canon and at that point the stories are just meaningless

@@richardm5448 Hmm sorry if I worded it incorrectly, I am moreso explaiing that I don't want to be an npc in another story, my thinking is if you are playing in world like berserk you are/will not drive the stories you are an NPC in gut's stories, I am fine playing rpg games but not as an NPC in other stories
@@yuugael4010 aahhh I think i see what you mean, you would actually want to be guts if you were to play a game like that? I think in the old berserk game you play as guts. If that is what you meant then I get that for sure, it would have to be quite an original concept to be just another person in the world watching the MC from the side and it still be a really good game. Some webtoons/manwha I read do that really well so I think it could be done but it would have to be a serious passion project.
