    I really enjoy flying with Naviter's instruments and I'm happy they finally added Fanet+ to the Oudie N! Got any questions about this instrument?

    The Oudie N has very quickly become my go to racing device. I broke mine and the Naviter team were top notch with the repair and also update to the FANET+ version. 👍🏻

    Great great video, as a beginner paraglider (but skydiver since 1987), I felt lost in the field of instruments. Basically this video helped me to gravitate more the Oudie N, it seems completely of this time. And the intuitive use appeals massively.

    Great review, i am currently flying with a XCtracer 5 with flarm and i always wonder if other aircrafts can actually see me

    Great review thanks :) Is there a way to display a vertical slice of the airspace? Seing the restricted area vertically, terrain and current trajectory is very useful

    • @joannadigrigoli
      @joannadigrigoli  Před 2 měsíci

      I'm glad you liked it! So far, there's no airspace side view like in the old Oudie, I hope they'll include it in a future update!

    Hi, thanks for the review!
    It would be actually nice to see how it looks in flight but I guess it would be more difficult to film...
    Something got me confused on an online shop selling this device, is the life subscription to SeeYou navigator included when you buy it?
    Is it possible to display the map of skyways / thermals like on flyxc while flying?

    • @joannadigrigoli
      @joannadigrigoli  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Hi! I'm glad you liked it!
      Yes, it's kinda difficult to film in flight, you can see it a little bit on this video, but I'll what I can work out for the next one.
      When you buy the instrument, you get one year of subscription for free. For the following year, I have a discount code if you're interested 😀
      Regarding the skyways and thermals, yes, you can activate that on the menu so you can have that info displayed on the map.
      Have fun!

    Hi Joanna, can you tell if other pilots are sinking or climbing on the screen? Skytraxx had that feature. If the pilot dot was green, climbing... red, sinking.

    • @joannadigrigoli
      @joannadigrigoli  Před rokem +2

      Yes! If a pilot is climbing, it’s shown in green, and if they’re sinking, they’re shown in black 😀

    Hello Joanna, I inserted a SIM card in my Oudie N+ with a fair amount of data loaded (250 MB) thinking that whilst flying I could access websites that give me updated weather info (weather stations with info on wind on the ground for example). Within a few minutes, before I even took off, all the data was gone, gobbled up. I had turned off all the "automatic updates" buttons... Do you have any idea of what is causing the problem? (I am connected to the OGN but was told that the data used is minimal and that the data is sent by satellite and internet...)
    Thanks

    • @joannadigrigoli
      @joannadigrigoli  Před 8 měsíci

      Hi! I haven't used the instrument with a SIM card yet, but I imagine it could use a lot of data if you haven't downloaded the maps using wifi.

    nice review for a great device! i miss the air buddies feature from the Oudie 5. in areas with lot of traffic you get so much information that you lose the overview. synch with seeyou cloud is great, but how can i manage the ogn, flarm, fanet devices.

    • @joannadigrigoli

    Hi Joanna, I like you GoPro Max Camera Setup. The video angle (Framing) with your Pod Harness, Wingtip and Background. Would you share the GoPro Mount and Extension pole (type or length) you are using? I try since quite a while finding the perfect setup, not to bulky, not a risk of getting the lines tangled in the Mount and reasonable steady. Hope to see more videos of yours.

    • @joannadigrigoli
      @joannadigrigoli  Před rokem +1

      Hi Florian. You can see the gear I use to mount it in the links in the description. But, I'm planning on doing a video about how I mount my 360 camera because it's a question I get asked pretty often. I hope I can do it pretty soon! Thanks for watching!

    Hello again Joanna
    I enjoy the Skysight integration on the Oudie in particular for the convergence... excellent. However I don't understand the importance of the Skysight info regarding "wind speed and direction at the flying altitude". We get accurate information from the Oudie whilst flying so we don't need to see the Skysight's forecast. Do you use this info and if so how do you use it? Thanks

    • @joannadigrigoli
      @joannadigrigoli  Před 8 měsíci

      Hi! Unfortunately, I haven't used the Skysight integration, so I can't help you with that. If I ever use it, I'll make a video about it. Good luck!
