I saw QI at Crown Theatre Perth 🇦🇺. It was fabulous but Alan had flown with his family and they all got flu. We weren't sure if he'd make it until he dragged himself on stage 👏 I met both Stephen and Alan after the show and Stephen put his arm around my left shoulder ❤ He was so tall. I totally regret freezing and unable to chat to him. A missed opportunity but something I treasure forever ❤
So jealous! If I understood what QI was at the time I would have gone

I stopped watching for a while when Sandi took over and that was such a mistake. It's not the exact same as Stephen but I 100% approve of her as host.

@@Fcutdlady But it has gone from being quite interesting into facts about Denmark and let's try to make Alan look clueless as if he hasn't changed at all during the decades on the show. I think it's an elves-problem, not a Sandi-problem.
Here in the land of freedom units when something goes wrong we say "screwed the pooch".
Australia tried to produce it's own version of Quite Interesting, but the executive producers couldn't find a compare that was witty and intellectual enough.

I wouldn't say she ruined it but it's certainly gone down a few notches. There a quite a few others who would do a better job in my opinion. David Mitchell, perhaps or Phil Jupitus, maybe but I guess the BBC have to keep up the diversity quota.
@@orwellboy1958 I can’t watch it with her, Stephen made the show and there was only a few who could’ve taken his place without the show going downhill. but ofc the bbc needs to employ a strong woman instead
