5 Year Egg Donor Update

5 Years ago I donated my eggs to my best friends, the Mchusbands! The twin girls are 5 years old and I'm constantly getting asked if I feel differently about kids since I'm in the girls lives. Sooo, do I want kids?

Great question! So the girls know my mom a little from video chats. But to be honest since I live across the country from all my family, I don't see them much at all. If my family ever decides to come visit I'm sure they'll meet them! But for now it's more like me flying out to see them every few years so there's just really not much of a chance for the girls to have a relationship with them.

I never had children. I did get the same “you will change your mind” but not too bad because I shut it down. I’m past having baby age and still happy with my decision.

I loved this video. We need more people speaking up about us women who have chosen not to have children. I love my nieces and nephews, but that doesn't mean I love children for me. I don't want to have any, and it's always insulting hearing family, friends, or strangers telling me I'll change regret my decisions later on or I haven't met the right one. Or the whole biological clock logic 🙄
