Small SUVs are the axis on which the car market turns, these days. For many, they’re the default family car, with all the brand lustre and driveway one-upmanship that you could ask for, complete with the roominess of a baby 4x4 and the low running costs a family hatch.
That is the magic recipe that the new DS 3 Crossback is working to, and it needs to have the ingredients just right if it’s to take on rivals like the Volkswagen T-Roc, Mini Countryman, Audi Q2 and BMW X1.

The DS 3 Crossback is not based on the Citroën C3 Aircross. The Citroën is based on the old PF1 platform, not the new CMP platform that the DS inaugurates and the Peugeot 208 will share.

It's a new platform not shared with any current PSA model (until the new 208 arrives) so is hardly "tried and tested". A little research would help here!

Not sure about the outside, but that interior is foul. Would be acceptable without the diamond buttons that they have machine gunned on to the centre console

The uk reliability index shows a normal reliabillity for french brands. Renault 9 th on 40 , peugeot 14 th .
The german premium is in the bottom of the list
@@stephen10. No, Peugeot is number 1 in 2019 ! The French is the more reliable car in the world and in UK in 2019 thanks the center test Peugeot new generation. Its on all website, its a british study and European study we can see it on uk, german, french, russian or irish auto magazine
French cars is the most beautiful and popular with the best price, 7 French cars on the top 15 of best European cars its more than the 4 german cars. There is 0 Italian cars. 0 british cars ( because british dont have cars since longtime.. only Aston martin or Mclaren is british now but that 0.1% of cars selling in uk ) French cars is 25% of selling cars in UK, 40% of the top 10 italy 2019, 30% of all European market.
