They did something to bog these down. My 2006 cobalt is faster. My brothers son in laws 2009 cobalt is slower too. I don't even have the separate coils on plugs. This is how mine accelerates with the ac on. Lol
The 09/10 2.2's, on paper, are a step above the older 2.2's and have VVT. They make around 155HP compared to the 140ish HP of the old ones. That said, they seem more sluggish than the old 2.2's in the 08's and under. I have the 2.4 G5 GT and it's night and day compared to any of the 2.2's, but these def seem slowest. Of course, this is just by comparison. These cars all have plenty of pep to be naturally aspirated 4 cylinders. I actually love my 2.4 and 2.2 Cobalt for what they are lol

That isn’t a 09 g5, I own one as well and the highest it goes is 220 km/h or mph. Looks like a 07 or 08 to me

Its def a 2009. Had the car for over a year, drive it everyday, renew the plates all that stuff lol.
