ワンフェスおよびトレフェスオンラインで販売されたキットなのですが、前情報通り組みやすいキットでした。
その反面コッコロちゃんのキーカラーがほぼ緑系統色なので色の使い分けが思っていたよりもシビアな制作だった気がします。

ショートに続いて本編来ていた、このかっちりした塗り分けはやはりマスキングの巧みさにあるのが良く分かります。そして瞳の彩色は毎度ながら素晴らしい……

前々から思ってたけどこの人の目の塗装技術とかえぐすぎるそして作業一つ一つにキャラクターに対しての愛を感じる。
そこに痺れる憧れるわぁ…
ホントに流石だ。俺たちに出来ないことを平然とやってのけてる。
ほんの少しの部分を塗るのにも
丁寧にマスキングしていて凄いです…
他とは違う圧倒的な完成度はこの大変すぎる
作業とこだわりがあるからなんですね…
There's this method that works really well for when you make steam gages on tiny locomotives or airplane cockpits, where you make a hole in the shape of the dial, you then paint the bottom with the indications, needle etc or put the decal in there, then using some clear epoxy, you fill it back up. It makes really, really realistic dials. I wonder if this could work for making the eyes. Remove just a bit in the shape of the visible part of the eyeball (after you've drawn the eyelashes) then draw the pupil, iris shades etc, and finish with a drop of clear epoxy over it.
A movie studio that makes the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park does the same with their eyes as well, just that those are cast in resin whole, with a concave section on which the pupil, iris and veins/details are painted. Those look 100% real.
Some people do that, I think it all depends on what type of character and figure they are painting.
That's also similar to how the irises of doll eyes are made, like for ball jointed dolls :)

塗る前のマスキング作業で先ず息を止めてしまう、その後の塗装と剥がしで溜め息が出る、素晴らしいです

マスキングゾルのコントロールが神がかってますね。グラデーション塗装の美しさも素敵です。知らないキャラクターですが凄く魅力的です。

It's rare I do model painting, and never to this level. You put more effort and quality into the flowers in her hair than I did on an entire tank I painted recently. The end result is always worth it.

why did he go through all that trouble of latexing and masking just to paint a red dot in the flower? he could've just used a paint brush
@@t-.-t. The inside of the flower is only a few millimeters in size. At that scale, a tiny drop of paint isn't feasible and is very accident prone, and thus needs specific techniques.

塗装そのものの技術や色彩のセンスはもちろんの事、どんなに小さなパーツでも細かく細かくマスキングされていて、妥協というものが一切無し。作業の細かさに見惚れて見終えた後はまるで自分が造ったかの如くグッタリしてしまいました。
フィギュアの命とも言える瞳の筆塗りがどうかな？…と思いましたが、お見事です。その美しさに惹き込まれました。
生まれ持った感性も必要かと思われますが、この領域まで達するのには一体どれだけの時間が必要なんでしょうか？
到底追いつけない事だけは紛れもない事実ですが…。
