+NachoChezGaming Thank you
+NachoChezGaming Good god, Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wish I found this comment sooner lol...
Thank you
For that much $$$ Bear Grylls better be in that bag too.
dam right
lol right!!
and he better be using it on his episodes
my hiking gear totals over 2 grand...and half the stuff in the bear bag, you don't need at all lol
@@Fj4LiFe23no shot your pack is over 2 grand
I would buy this, but i dont want to buy 14 fixed blades, 37 folders, 6 multitools, 3 machetes, and 8 axes. I mean if you got this as a 15 person family zombie survival pack it could prove useful.
+Brennan Louderback don't forget the Grandfather knife!
Yeah but the knifes break so easy so they just shoved it full of knives
62 people if everyone gets a one knife or one mele
Sorry 68
It's when the cheaply manufactured fixed blades break XD
Don't think there's enough knives in there.
you need a backup knife to backup the backup knife, on and on, where do you stop?
genie0390 zombie apocalypse survival kit. Lol
genie0390 that gave me the giggles thank u lol
Me too needs like 50 more cause a knife a day keeps the viewers away
Knife-abuse
950 dollers I'm trying to survive not go bank rupted
But luckily you don't need all of those knives, just get the standard ultimate survival knife, the small folding knife, and the multi tool and a machete. That's what I would do anyways
Marc Arriaga I do agree😄
$950 ? 😖🤬
It's better to have the best bag possible
What is "bank rupted"?
Half of this video is about straps
+James Martin Not to mention the fact that the pack has A LOT of knives.
+James Martin The other half is about puppies.
Lol
More, I checked
Straps are actually pretty important when it comes to a quality back pack. Unfortunately I don't believe this is a quality back pack so yeah half the clip was a waste of time.
why would you need 10 knifes and 5 multitools???
its a total joke
Its a fan boy bundle not a survival bag, get over it.
yea I thought this as well you could have 1 multi-tool, machete, a hatchet, a sheath knife and 1 folding knife
Handy if you need to threaten people to hand over the piss. :P
On the show, BG uses 1 knife and a firesteel. Yet the brand has a saw, 10 knives, 5 bags, and a cheese grater
Looks like he did not open any of the packages because he'll send them back for refund after the video.
Betcha he as all the stuff
Steven Kim He is giving the product away :D
monjanger
So would I...
don't forget the bg enema kit
@@stevenkimdmd because it's all garbage!
Gerber: so how many knif-
Bear grylls: yes
For that kind of money I could set up a quality back pack with a light weight tent, mattress, sleeping bag, cooking gear and still get change.
Why would anyone want this pack full of several variations of the same substandard items. I don't even want one of these crappy knives let alone 12 of them.
I'd rather just buy a good back pack that re-invests what Gerber would charge the end user for Bears naming rights.
This guy knows nothing of survival. I'm going to enjoy making parody videos...
He knows more than you
MR BEN a
MR BEN these are all the sets in one
Amen
This is insane! Three ultimate survival knifes!
It reminds me of Christmas when he just pulls out all this stuff.
I do not think for one moment that Bear Grylls designed this. He is SASR trained, and this is not based on SAS field proven equipment. This is a commercial venture using his name. Most of the stuff I have seen with his name on it is rubbish. There are a lot of videos on CZcams that show how to set up bug out bags and review equipment. Do your research, and build your pack to suit your needs. LEARN TO USE YOUR EQUIPMENT, and save $ 950.
Agreed, it's the brand directors of the show and the company's that sponsor the Bear Grylls brand name responsible for this, I doubt Bear as an individual would recommend a wealthy person just buy this and without even knowing what's in it or how to use half the stuff just wander out into the wild, that would never end well.
Bear Grylls recommends to travel light with basic but trustworthy gear, you see him on his show's just carrying and wearing the bare minimum. And a bag you pack yourself is always going to be more effective than a premade kit.
There are 8 knifes, 3 multituls in this
flashy backpack...C'mon...8!!! Gimme a break!
You don't need all these knives for any kind of situation! It's just something I would never spend 950 on
It needs more knives... :-)
Man I remember watching this video when I was 12 and thinking this backpack was the coolest thing in the universe
Bro same i just found it again almost 3 years later
you spend half the vid talking about straps
sleeping bag or tent added would have been nice too…
No one is going to go camping or bug out with over 18 blades. Gerber has to know that all these knives are just going to sit in someone's garage or be separated into different packs, in which case it makes no point selling it all in one pack.
21 blades
I do I got 17
I honestly think people would just need 1 knife, small or mid sized Axe , also at least a machete...you never know....
I would suggest people buy an empty pack, then just get the items you feel you need. If your not sure your remembering everything, just keep watching vids like these. This will save you a few hundred bucks LOL.
Knives sometimes break easily and some are different purpose
"Tactical Military Operations"
Jesus the amount of "tacticool" applied to a thick molle backpack is hysterical
I instantly hate any product with any or all of those three words.
@@mrben9364 I love it
I still think in a SHTF environment, any backpack will draw attention.. people will be desparate and they don’t care what color it is or whether it looks tactical. That’s why i would highly recommend a belt and maybe a water resevoir type pack that can be under your heavy jacket for basic essentials
The amount of knifes in this kit is to damn high
Much knifes, many loss.
Something about having a pack of survival tools with Bear Grylls name on it makes me feel uneasy. Like it's more about the name brand than the quality. I could buy everything here for half the price with much better quality. In a survival situation, who's really going to care of the tool was sponsored by Bear Grylls?
Well said. And I'll add that buying Bear Grylls products would also make me feel...like a moron and a sucker. Like you said, there are products on the market which are cheaper and better or same quality. And to answer your question about who's going to care: Gerber and Bear Grylls. They care so much they might even throw in a 50 dollar Beaer Grylls solid fuel tablet as a promo.
Great marketing for the "Soccer Moms" that don't know about gear and will put some of these products in kids Xmas Stocking ect.... Anyone with knowledge of any of this type of gear would never buy this stuff.... Reminds me of AS SEEN ON TV..stuff you find on shelves at your local pharmacy . : )
BUT HEY.. you get what you pay for..
all his gear is good.....but not the best
What an efin JOKE
Holy crap... How many knives do you need?
Great review!!! Thanks for all the links as well. Great information
Dude. Whoever decided what goes into that pack really loves knives... Isn't the point of survival gear that you don't need all that crap?
One good knife, an axe, a sharpener and a fire starter. Add a tent and/or sleeping bag, a super compact oven, alcohol, water and dry food. Slap a good length of paracord to one side and a mini shovel to the other side.
That's a survival kit.
Can you go into business and make that survival kit plz,I WILL BUY IT trust me
950 hahaha they lost there minds. I have a lot of critizisms towards bear. His gear seems great for last ditch. None of it is my top choice for gear even with the affordability. But i will say its great beginner stuff. But me personally. 950 would get a lot of range time :)
Keep up the good work I love your vids!
thanks so much for the links and love this video
It's always a nice way to relax, just watch your videos :)
:)
+Ultimate Survival Tips would I be able to carry it I am 13 or would it be too heavy???Also I love your videos!!!
Survival Team- Learning Together it fits me and I am 12 years old and it's not to heavy
Survival Team- Learning Together it depends on your body size
Hey everyone, the best ideas that i've had was with the Marla survive system
(just google it) definately the most incredible preppers that I've followed.
What an awesome review. The bag actually doesn't looks bad.
Beside this, am I the only one thinking BG Gear is a desperate attention seeking company, throwing 15 different (but same) knives on their assortment?
Are the items seperate or do they come with the bag
Does anyone know what the orange loops at the bottom of the pack are for?
They need to make the Bear Gryles, water filter straw (attachable to the canten), the Bear Gryles mountain house meals.

pathetic jeez!!
Good Review, surprised about the rain cover which comes with the bag...thanks
hey UST (ultimate survival tips) do you get to keep this stuff or only review it
wow, that was amazing, all that bear grylls products made me feel like a kid waiting for christmas, but guys, dont be hating, this pack is meant to include all the products from the bear grylls line. Its clearly for collectors.
Ya but if someone's going to use this majority of that kit is trash
How about the other bear grylls knife that's 500 bucks is it another gimmick like this pack
3/4 of the video is about the bag...
It is a good bag of kit stop your wineing 😈
Nice review thanks great bag!
good job David i am very impressed thanks for the videos
one random day i told my mom that i need all the stuff that i wrote down in my note book (i believe in the zam-b appoc and i made a checklist of things i needed) she asked me why and i told her "be prepared, because you never know......." very dramatically and mysteriously and walked away slowly .📒✏💵🎃
I also did that to my dad😂

Not so sure why you would need so many knives in a survival pack. It just looks like a product line wrapped in an expensive wrapper!
To be fair it would be more a survival bag not a "I want to blend in and not be seen because i'm on a super secretive mission" bag.
I am neutral on this and therefore I am not promoting nor demoting the backpack or the gear but The pack itself is available for around $100 give or take 20 bucks. I think the "Ultimate Pack" bundle which includes all the gear is meant for the enthusiasts and strong fans of Bear Grills in is the entire collection. There are always offers on product lines where you can get the entire collection for a certain price. In fact Gopro cameras has a giveaway where you can win the entire camera and accessory arsenal, yet it would be unlikely and impractical to carry all the gear and use it in one outing. If I were interested, I would just buy the pack as most people would which is a decent price. I find it to be best to stick with tested and proved quality brands for each specific tool anyhow as many people do in the fields they are interested in. Gotta say though, I would be a bit shy to carry around the pack with a big BG logo on it too. No offense to Bear, I like the guy but it's just how I am. I would be just as shy wearing the hat Indiana Jones wears if it said "Indiana Jones" on it - lol
Also, I find that buying a good compass is far safer than relying on ones that comes with another product or only cost a few dollars. This gear likely isn't intended for serious adventurers who likely have most of their gear already.
Nice pack but missing MANY things like TINDERS, ENERGY BARS, FIRST AID KIT, PARACORD, SNARES, HEADLAMP, WATER FILTERATION, FISHING KIT, FLASHLIGHT, STAINLESS POT, SCISSORS, KNIFE SHARPENER, EATING TOOL, SHOVEL, MATCHES, TARP, NICE COMPASS, TROWEL, + MORE.... Do you think this pack can hold all that? I like the size.
if your talking about hiking, you also don't need half the items you just listed either lol
Fj4LiFe23
I'm not talking about surviving, I am talking about thriving when surviving
Mason Rogers i believe
1. u cant get a lot of TINDERS in the wild
2. u can bring ur own energy bar if you want to go hiking
3. the paracord u are talking about is the bracelet
4. Headlamp/flashlight = theres a portable LED flash in the survival tool pack.
5. water filtration/stainless pot= u can boil water by using the stainless pot inside the BG canteen, FYI theres an orange color pot like there good for boiling water and cooking foods.
6.scissors is in the survival tool pack
7Knife sharpener is on the ultimate pro fix blade knife holder
8.u dont need match if you have a fire steel in the ultimate fix knife
9.dididnt u see the compact compass at 20:18?
If Gerber do add these things im pretty sure the price would be well over $1000, there are 2 flash lights and a headlamp and there are scissors on 1 or 2 of the multi-tools but this bag is not going for a full bug out its only something that is meant for short term such as 72 hours. the pack is also made out of the same material that power kites are made out of so you its only meant for light weight stuff and not for extreme wear and tear
it has a flashlight nice compass and lots of those things you listed are in the ultimate kit that he unboxes in a different video
Yeah. I would like the pack because of the size, and it would help with carrying more stuff, but I would rather pack it with my choice of stuff.
I saw this pack in the store it's a piece of crap. Don't waste your money buy an osprey.
bentstraight I'll look into it, thanks
BlueRedGooGoo I can tell you of a nice backpack mate ? You wanna know ? :)
+ Ultimate Survival Tips does all of that come with the pack or does it come separately?
hey David I have a question, is it water proof? (the backpack without the black cover)
In my opinnion you draw more attention to your self wearing all tactical gear, looking all tacticool. Im not defending this bag or anything, I dont own it and Im not a Grylls fan.
+Paul win my strongarm arrived today, love it
+Dag Ut Agree 100%. If you are NOT military/police trained you are going to get your tacticool stuff stolen by someone like me. I will be looking like a dumb camper without a clue nobody pays attention too. He will have everyone looking at him. People like me will know his kit contains good stuff. I will use my cunning and willingness to commit violent acts to acquire it. ;)
Turd Cutter And then you will look all tacticool wearing the original tacticools, and thus tacticool stuff become like umbrellas.
Turd Cutter Aww :/ I thought we could be bff's.
No need to get violent here Turd
I didn't expect all that gear!
Indeed
There are many of factors in prepping.
One place I found which succeeds in merging these is the Survivor Crusher System
(google it if you're interested) definately the most useful survival website that I've heard of.
Check out the awesome free video.
I have spent months studying survival and discovered a fantastic website at Survivor Crusher System (check it out on google)
It was an awesome review, it's the second review that I've watched from you mate and it amazing right to the details. I'm gonna join your websites for more cool tips and videos. Thank you
Did it come with the stuff
Hey David! Do you ship back everything from gerber or do you keep it? Just wonderin
$950!!! ???That's 5 months rent for me!!
+Wagon Burner So the stuff that promotes rugged individualism and self-reliance comes from a nation that hates that. Hmmm, why am I not surprised. Btw , I ordered Navy SEAL boots a while back , looked under the tongue and lo and behold , Made In China. I wanted to puke
So you really live in the woods then?
How many knives will be needed when shtf? According to Bear Grylls at least 25 lmao!
robert anderson ž
Does anyone know what kind of bag David had in this video? I'm talking about his personal one.. The OD green bag.
I looked on amazon and found the pack but it doesn't specifically say that it has all the stuff inside it. I am worried that if I buy it, it will only be the bag. Can someone please help me?
$950? no way
Can't be that much all of that stuf is worth al least $5000 all together
Coolpersononyoutube ....*FacePalm*
If you do your research you could probably find the equivalent items for under $1000 or £1000
Im not sure what your going to survive with a crap tone of blades. no water treatment, no food or game catching tools. I feel bad for anyone who buys this as a survival bag thinking it says Bear Grylls on it they can go out for a day or more lol. Just myy opinion calm down ladies who love this thing lol
I think stuff like water treatment is in the smaller survival kits that he shows
EDWARD Holland it should not be labeled "ultimate" then. Anyone who is not the wiser and does no research sees this in a store or whatever pays for it. Then gets home to find you can't survive a thunderstorm with it. Its is not an ultimate survival bag it is a blade bag with a couple extra little things.
+Countrystrong Andfree yeah, it's full of blades. just another way for them to bump up the price for needless stuff
What's the heavy duty green bag called that he showed at the beginning

Good looking pack but I just bought a USMC ILBE Gen 2 for $60 deliverd and its bigger.
I agree with you bro...but im sticking with my Large Alice rig ;)
I was just about to recommend the ILBE.
I also have an ILBE. I picked it up on ebay for around what you payed. The pack it's self was never issued! The belt and lid I had to get separately. Both were used but in great shape.
I have that and the Desert Filbe, Best packs in the world! I highly recommend them.
yatyas311
And you can spend half the money by buying just the name brand stuff without Bear Grylls name on it. Why anyone would spend the extra money is beyond me.
You could spend half the money and get better items, more items and not end up with a bad of 10 knives and 5 multi tools.
Does the bag come with all the knives and lights and little kits?
where did you get it because they don't sell it on the website?
Wow I really wish this pack had a knife...
Thanks for the video. This pack is for rich idiots, seriously, I bet they sell 15 of them, what a mess.
you do good reviews my dude. keep it up
when you buy the pack on amazon do you get the tools included
Is this the one that the winner of the contest gets?
Yes
$950?
Typo, more like $95
Luc Malenfant Well, maybe $950 with all the stuff inside....
ah ok
thank you for the warning about the whistle, i was wearing headphones :)
I know it says in the video but does the backpack actually come with the knives, fire starters etc?
Do people actually by BG garbage?
I don't like this at all. Let's see how much of our crap we can load into this backup and sell for almost $1,000. You don't need 4 multi tools, you only need 1 really nice one and a spare for redundancy. Nice video, horrible product. Thanks for sharing!
Dose the items inside the bag come with it if I buy it from Amazon
ia this a set with all shown items? what's the price?
I like my pack better
10 knifes???????? why?????
Why not
bacause it´s stupid!!!!!
joke
chicobalaable because this is marketing )))))
Where do you by the pack because ive tryed home depot and other stores ive also looked online i just cant find them
Is the backpack really full with that stuff when u buy it.
This pack looks like it would last about 5 minutes of use... Hip belt that wouldnt take the weight of a fly without your hips starting to hurt.. Meh, spend a few more dollars and get a backpack from like arc'teryx or somthing that wont hurt you, and will last for years of use. Lifting in a comfortable manner is not to be underestimated
Oh and btw, if this backpack is 950USD.. well i dont belive that it is, but if it is, you can get top of the line packs from any of the serious outdoor companys
Lindholmer5k Dude the pack comes with everything he shows. Thats why its 950.
Keith R Oh that changes things lol, still would spend that money on a propper pack meself :p
Gerber is not garbage
Derek Kimmich Gerber used to be good until they started making the shit in China.
Would never buy it, got a better OD tactical backpack which I could take to the end of the earth and it would still be amazing. This bag just seems a bit cheap and tacky.
So I'm 18 and me and my dad love camping up mountains I used to have a really cheap bag that ripped my knife was blunt and my equipment was generally old. My grandad watched this video and got it for me so THANKS
I'm confused. do you buy it all at once and it comes all together or you have to buy each thing separately?
It all comes together in one bag.
u open this at the woods and start thinking what to do with all of those knifes:D like wtf what are u gonna do with all those knifes
and multi tools
They r just in cases for when your knife becomes blunt or if it breaks which most likely won't. I have no idea Wat to say about the multi-tool but they r all awesome.
Well, a knife for cutting, killing, sharpening, combat, throwing, chopping, and practice on how to handle a knife.
+Synyster you were not paying attetion in school
You arrange them in a circle like Jared Leto
Make your titles shorter and thumbnails less busy and you will get more views
Thanks for the tips! :)
Thanks for the tips. :)
Its cool. the look of videos will make people more likely to click on them and you would probably get more subscribers.
Thanks as always for the video! (Altho i dont think i can buy this one)
Good tip.
Hasnt really worked for me yet!?
Is there anywhere where you can still purchase this combo pack or/and the 60L backpack
I bought a Coleman MAX Elate 65L about 6 years ago for $25 on clearance sale. Made from heavier material it's been thrown from aircraft onto the tarmac quiet a few times and has seen a lot of use and is still in new condition. Also comes with built in rain cover.
lol thats a lot of knives, im thinking they expect people to lose them or something.
+Mike Logan Right!? Imagine being in a public woods surviving and a random person finds it and see's all those knives you'll look like a serial killer!
i know right, lol
Does Bear Grylls really need the Houseboat, plus the two other mansions/homes? If so, must we pay for them? Les Stroud is trying to get a log cabin going... and Bear has 3 homes! Les... KILL YOUR AGENT... Then every (media mogel) on your show! I thought it was only the staged animals that were get killed... were screwed... turns out...it's Les and all of us too :-(
William Jones Bear doesn't need to money. His family is royalty. Go read his bio...
I'm sure that'll make Les feel all the better :-)
Where do you buy this backpack with the stuff in it
Hey great channel guy! Let me start off by saying great job on the reviews and with that being said let me just add that you look just the lead singer from Depeche Mode just saying but awesome work on your channel!
Made in China
good
Yeah I need a tiny original knife a tiny pro knife a tiny awesome knife a large cute knife a larger cute knife the largest cute knife btw all orange it makes animals blind. 60 straps why not?(thug life) and let me see 20 flashlights . Should last me a hour
Did you get all the stuff wiph the pack
so im looking at it on amazon right now did it come with all that stuff if so plrase let me know cus im thinking about geting it
These kind of "pro" reviews just suck. You strapped you rifle to the pack and hiked how many meters:) It's obvious this pack is useless and will not stand for any long term use. The hip/waist belt is too thin to support/carry anything of importance. Like most BG stuff it's useless.

Thanks for the great experience-based reviews.
I wanted to ask if you did any review on the Bear Grylls 45L Backpack?
Do all the knives seriously come with the pack? Or is this just for filling up the pack giving an idea of what you can fit in there?
I've been looking for one of these where can I find it
