Scott Hall appeared in ECW on a few occasions though his first visit didn't go too well. Scott appeared backstage at a Florida house show and he was asked to leave by Shane Douglas, Chris Candido, Bam Bam Bigelow and other members of the ECW locker room. Shane felt mistreated by Scott and the kliq back when Douglas worked for the WWF, and Shane thought the former Razor Ramon had a lot of nerve showing up at an ECW event (even though he was invited by Justin Credible).
Scott was able to wrestle a few matches for the company in November 2000. His first match was a tag team encounter where Hall teamed up with Jerry Lynn to face Rhino and Justin Credible. He then had 2 more matches in ECW; he wrestled Sal E. Graziano and Justin Credible on the same show before calling it quits. This video covers the Shane Douglas incident and the matches Scott had in Extreme Championship Wrestling. - Sport
Scott Hall having the Fugees Ready or not as his theme was so cool.
Scott Hall was cool in general
It fit him like a glove.
It was just Too Sweeeeeet
That walk out Scott Hall did was unbelievable and he grabbed the mic saying hey yo and the place erupted
Was Scott Hall, Chew? I always wondered.
"I'm gonna fiiiiind Chew and make Chew want me."
Now we know. lol
*"You want a war? You're gonna get one!"*
- Scott Hall
Long live Wrestling Bios.
Shane talking about Scott "getting punked out in front of a building full of people " like there wasn't a group of dudes is hilarious.
What did he want Scott to do, fight all of them?
Takes a real big man to roll 4 deep on a guy.
Truth
Three on one would have legitimately been a fair fight for Scott.
Exactly, Scott Hall wasn't no bitch people!!!!!!! He was a frickin legitimate badass in real life!!!! Rip 🙏 Razor
Douglas blames everyone except himself for not being a top guy. If you can make money with someone you do.
@@raycimbalnik5159 yup Shane is always gonna have a chip on his shoulder
A rare missed opportunity to call Jerry Lynn: “Jerry Flynn without an F”.
Hahah
Shane Douglas isn’t half as tough as he comes across… I guarantee you that interaction with Scott Hall did not go down that way.
Probably was exactly like that. SH was with his young child. Any responsible father would do the same thing.
@@thequackpackattack9250I agree, Scott would have whipped Shane’s ass which is why Shane had to gang up on Scott with 3 other wrestlers. In my opinion, Scott in that moment proved how much better of a person he is than Shane by taking the higher road, ESPECIALLY in front of his own son.
I believe nothing that kevin Nash has to say but scott hall is a different matter. I think scott didn't want any problems. He had enough problems of his own.
Hey yo! To this day, whenever I hear "Ready or Not", I think of Scott Hall
That song fit him like a glove
I used to hear it and think "hey Scott Hall that's cool" then when he died that song stayed on my playlist for a couple months. Now I think "man... Scott Hall."
@@ryankeefe2102you probably also thought it was cool when Nash was trying to cosplay as 2pac
@@djdarq6311 not really
Scot Hall came out to "Ready or Not" in ECW, and want to come out to Give Me One Reason to Stay Here by Tracy Chapman for the infamous Garden Show in 96. Total 90's man. Love that guy
Proud to say I was at the one in Poughkeepsie. I was 10 years old and my dad brought me there as my first wrestling show. Still have very vivid memories of seeing that entrance.
Unfortunately I live in the area lol. I think I was at every ECW show they had here at the civic center.
Yeah that's always a thing I liked about Scott Hall. He seemed like he was always willing to do whatever was the best for the business and give others shots. From the 1-2-3 Kid to BIg Sal here.
One of those people that realized you can be over even while losing. Because so many just don't seem to realize that.
Always thought it was funny how Justin Credible was like the secret 6th member of the kliq
Pretty sure he was just another spicoli, he just knew where the drugs were
No wonder him a Sean was made a team Justin wouldn’t of been able to make it in wwf on his own
My understanding was he was more down with Scott and Waltman a little bit with Shawn but not so much Nash and Triple H
Back in the day, I actually thought that Justin Credible was Sean Waltman with a shaved head. ( I was like 9 years old) lol
@@ryankeefe2102well yeah, Nash and Hunter had the brains for the business, Nash drank but that’s all and Hunter’s as straightedge as Punk. It absolutely tracks that Sean and PJ would’ve been closer to Michaels and his fanny pack of Colombian marching powder
That Fugees Wolfpac mashup was incredible
It was absolutely fire!!!!! 🔥
amazinggg
Yes it was
Is there any way to get this mash up remix its sick as fook
@@seankerr6562 I don’t know yet but I love it!!
I'm a huge Scott Hall fan so maybe I'm biased, but I'm not buying Shane Douglas's version of events. He's way too focused on putting himself over as a tough guy, and his story is drastically different from both Hall's and Francine's. Anyway, loved the video!
1000000000000000000000000000000000000% agree with you
Scott would have wiped the floor with him
Yeah I don't trust his word whatsoever in general lol one thing I noticed with this specific situation though is the other two versions of the story are shorter, to the point, and more realistic. When someone is lying, they will ramble to try to make the explanation seem more detailed and therefor impossible to be a lie. Like you said he's too focused on putting himself over as some kind of locker room leader tough guy.
Honestly, I kinda don't believe Douglas most times. He's so full of himself.
Shane Douglas appeared to have major problems with every company he ever worked for and has major problems with hell of more wrestlers than The Kliq.
Of course The Kliq were not good people at the time something they themselves fully admit to.
“Could make a 30 minute video on Shane Douglas issues with the clique “
Yes please. And thank you 🙏
Seconded!
@@RKStrikerJK5 Shane Douglas is'nt worth a video at all.
@@fmbbeachbum8163kinda funny how he’s been “held back” everywhere he went.
@@fmbbeachbum8163 Shane is only beloved by the indy marks who hate Kevin Nash and Hbk
Shane Douglas is the only person more bitter than Bret Hart.
Scott coming out the curtain to Fugees…one of my favorite reactions ever.
Thank you for this, there will never be enough Scott Hall coverage
I forgot that scott hall was in ECW that went over my head I've heard these stories before glad you've covered this.
If Douglas had swung at Hall, he'd have (re)injured himself, then blamed Ric Flair.
Woah lol
😂😂😂😂
Why is Shane's arm always injured? Is it his gimmick? If so it's lame. Haha
Then Shane Douglas would have to notify Target that he'd need some time off...
@@justin43098Basically the modern day Bob Orton
I know this is about Scott Hall, but I can’t help but be reminded how amazing Jerry Lynn was. Absolute legend and criminally underrated.
That pop he got in NY gives me chills. Rip Scotty
The Ready or Not entrance from Scott Hall was top tier! it always amazes me how ECW fans acted like they were so above the stuff in WCW or WWE but popped when guys like Sid and Scott Hall showed up, just out here frontin. Scott for sure should have had a full run in ECW and maybe held the TV Title for a bit, but things didn't quite work out.
What's amazing about that? Every sports fan has a team they hate and a player on that team they love.
It's insane how many ppl in the comments are apparently incapable of grasping the extremely simple concept that you can like / appreciate a wrestler without liking the promotion that they had wrestled for.
@@BigBoyToys-ce5qg Well what do you expect when the bread and butter of the channel is the Monday Night Wars? There's still sour grapes from when WCW shut down and it gets brought up almost every week here on how Raw/Nitro was better than the other.
I was a fan of all of the different pro wrestling promotions for different reasons and the Monday night wars was a great time to be a pro wrestling fan.
Honestly given how toxic and volatile the ECW locker room was its good that Hall didn't stay full time given his personal issues
Would have been dead by the time ECW closed.
Woulda started shooting pills with raven
Honestly that's literally every locker room in some form

You should relese the intro remixes one day man they are fire
I believe he did, maybe it's just Patreon but I thought he put them on here once
My eyes nearly rolled clean out of my head when Shane was talking. As if Scott Hall would call Shane "Franchise". Mark.
"What a mark!"
What's so hard to believe about that part
@@MrJadePinwheelIt just sounds like Shane was putting himself and his gimmicks over once again. Maybe it was true and Scott did say that, but it’s hard to believe Shane when he constantly makes himself out to be this main event wrestler who was held back, instead of just the average wrestler he was. He also stretches the truth constantly, twisting stories or adding in narratives that make him look like the good guy. So the fact that people don’t believe much of anything Shane says, is nobody but Shane’s fault.
That intro mash up was hard af ❤
Dude the intro....your a legend for documenting wrestling man. Love this
Every time I watch a Scott hall episode it still hits me in my feelers
The PCO conversation is weird to me. I understand they were in Montreal and PCO wanted to have a DQ finish with Diesel but nobody would expect Diesel to put over PCO at that time no matter where they were.
I like that remix of wolfpac/ready or not theme
Fuuges And Wolfpack, man you must be a hit in the clubs in Ireland, how incredible
I had no idea he was in ECW briefly. There's always something new to learn.
Here's a bonus, I believe this happened before the Big Sal/Justin Credible matches.
Earlier in the day, Big Sal and Bill Wiles ate at a Denny's, and took a handful of toothpicks. They orchestrated a rib, where they handed out the toothpicks to everyone else, and would put the toothpicks in their mouths as Scott came in. Everyone now a toothpick in mouth, would greet Scott with a "Hey, yo!" and throw the toothpick at him.
It's like what they say, they wouldn't rib ya if they didn't like ya.
Loving that intro music 🤙🤙 glad you covered Scott Hall in ECW, it's something I heard about but never knew the finer details.
Hall always put wrestlers over, not the nicest backstage but generous in the ring and he looked like he genuinely enjoyed his brief time in ecw. Great video as always my dude.
How do you know what he was like backstage?
I don't know. Unless Shane had a background in MMA or martial arts that I didn't know about, I don't think he was going to kick Hall's ass.
The Wolfpac theme blends so good with the Fugees 🔥🔥
I don't know much about Shane Douglas, but perhaps why Hall chose to not fight him that day, is because of the incident Hall had outside that club. Scott knows the ultimate consequence a fight can lead to.
which club
Years before Scott got into wrestling he was a bouncer at a bar (or strip club), he became friendly with a girl but the boyfriend saw them, they get into a fight outside the bar and the boyfriend had a gun, they wrestled for it and then Scott accidentally shot and killed him. You should watch his documentary, they will give you a better picture.
That was because a gun was involved. Funny when hall had the click with him he didn’t mind being a tough guy and bullying talent
And he had his young son with him…
@@pleaseshutup7053when?
18:28 I always knew this, I felt like I never used to see him win when I was a kid and it didn't change a thing...still my all time favorite wrestler
Is there a long version of this Wolfpac/Fugees Mix? It's awesome
The mashup of Fugees and Wolfpac theme on the intro was chef’s kiss
Can I asked, where did you get this remix on Wolfpack mixed with Ready or not? I love it.
dude, this is your best intro!! thank you for doing a video on scott's time in ECW, a lotta marks have been waiting for a great video on it. - JCVD
Excited for this video as I was a huge Razor Ramon fan as a kid and later got into ECW in my teens, but kinda missed the Scott Hall (in ECW) stuff, all I know his he used The Fugees Ready or Not as intro music... and you've used it in the intro to this video, brilliant work.
I'm only 24 seconds into the video, but had to comment that now.
Thumbnail from when Scott was briefly a member of the Misfits
Anything ECW is appreciated. Your the man
I went to an ecw event in Poughkeepsie ny. He jobbed to big Sal and then beat Justin Credible in the main event. This was the end of Ecw at the end of 2000
Perfect intro song. The first ~20 secs. of seeing Scott wrestle reminded me of just how good he was at wrasslin'
Francine seems like a cool chick, a real ride or die type.
You don't even know wtf that is or mean 😂
@@sweetpetergeda how do you know? you're just making some dumb statement like just another mark, beat it sister.
@@h445 People take wrestling to seriously just like you

Francine is still looking good all these years later
Hey yo!! That intro is awesome
Hall had many battles, but always SHOWED up, no matter his condition. he SHOULD have won the World title. had a great move set, was a fine worker yes, his demons got the best of him, but he always had great support and managed to get back into wrestling
You bugging, Hall himself said he didn't care for a world title. Why ya want to go against what he says to make yourself happy?
One of my favorite entrance songs. Him and Nash were into that R&B/rap scene.
Scott Hall has one of my favorite matches ever as part of The Outsiders. The match where they made Scott turn on Kev. The audience sees it coming but begs for it not to happen. It’s crazy.
That Wolfpac / Fugees mash up is fiiiirreeee.
🎵 You can't run awaaaaay from these styles I got, oh, baby~
Hey, baby, 'cause I got a lot, oh, yeeeeeah~ 🎵
Felt strange seeing the late WCW logo intro while the ECW music was playing.
Ya know, I kind of wish to see Scott Hall back when DDP was still his manager.
Diamond Studd was it?
A whole Scott hall biography of his wrestling backstory is most assuredly VERY interesting and explains how he became the man he was.
Like Magnum TA, I thought Scott Hall early on in his career looked like Tom Selleck had the body and that moustache
21:10
Scott got arrested later that month for DUI in Florida so that probably had something to do with it.
As for Shane and Francine, they said similar things in older shoot interviews. The first time I heard about Scott's late 90s visit was from Shane on the Forever Hardcore DVD and Francine's side was on both of her solo shoot interviews with Ring of Honor (back when booker Gabe Sapolsky was hosting the early ones) and RF Video (with Rob Feinstein hosting it).
12:00 Schenectady is a world class audience
Was a senior in high school and this was incredible
Was the night of my 19th Birthday. Center City went wild that entire night. I got sprayed by Sandman and his beer. My favorite wrestling show I've ever been to by miles
Having the instrumental version of Ready or Not combined with this Wolfpac lyrics in the opening is so genius I don't know why anybody hasn't thought about doing that.
That intro tho! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I think if we can learn anything from "The Franchise" is that Shane Douglas is his biggest fan and that he's better than everyone and everyone did him wrong.
True
Lol kinda like Nash... na im kidding. Nash did no wrong.
@@kiezersosay49 I'm sure Kevin Nash is probably best friends with Diesel, kinda crazy we've never seen them in a room together
Awesome. Thank you for this.
Tracy Smothers I love him learned alot from him. Rip Tracy your friends in the business miss you. Man the lockerroom talks. We need that Tracy Smothers bio brother.
THE WILD EYED SOUTHERN BOY
Opening tune is fantastic
Intro music is always great but that was so sick...I applaud you
I don't know... Douglas's account sounds a bit suspect 🤔🤷🏻♂️
Just like to thank everyone involved in contributing to this vids thet mean alot to us have a nice mufuggin day!
Excellent video!! As always
Scott Hall’s ECW debut was the day before my third birthday 🤣
Your Gen is the real problem here.
Thanks for everything, Scott Hall always entertained
Love your videos!
That mash-up at the beginning was FIRE! Who does the music for your videos?
Tysm for doing more ECW!
The Outsiders used the Ready or Not entrance music at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in 97 at a house show. Rey Mysterio vs Konnan, Último Dragón Vs Big Bratwurst where último won but Alex Wright cut a sick promo and walked away with his belt. Show was probably in August
"A Cracked Door"... I'm dying here XD
I remember Shane Douglas hated Scott Hall's guts when he was in ECW. Basically Paul Heyman told him to not hit him or a lawsuit will occur. The 1998 Era of ECW was insane
Scott Hall was in ECW in 2000 just saying
New intro is dope❤
It's not the new general intro; it's just for this specific video, because Hall used to come out to Ready or Not...
The wolfpac x Fugees mix is fire 🔥
Bro wtf is this mashup?? 🔥🔥🔥
There’s a time for everything and I understand that Scott and the kliq screwed a lot of guys over with the politics and favoritism but trying to pick a fight with a guy in front of his kid is appalling behavior imo
The way Shane Douglas talks, he's the toughest man alive
Props for the WSI mention. James is the man 👏
Yep. Sub here and seen these clips 1st time around. lol.
James is one of the best interviers on YT.
Very informative.
love this channel love the video production always just want to know the intro music to this video?
This is why your channel is awesome!! I had no idea scott was in ecw so cool!
Scott Hall was my first favorite. Though I only saw him in wcw never ecw. Interesting to learn.
That NWO Enya mix slaps SO hard! Can we have a little more?
Wait wasn’t bam bam in wcw at this time. Same with the franchise I thought he was in wcw did he get released? I guess a lot of people left wcw by fall of 2000.
Great video I wish I can like this video again and again
Should release a wrestling bios music cd
Dam you should be a DJ my boy your mixes are fire
YOOOOOOO that opening mashup went CRAZY.
love it
Need a longer version of the intro 🔥🔥
rip scott hall
Like him or not, Shane Douglas has always been consistent with his stories
"cracked door" very eloquent
Damn. Sweet intro. Easily one of the best Scott Hall ( R.I.P. ) vids made online. Great memories from those ECW stills. Taz & The Steiner Bros. could have been the original Hurt Business. Shane is Shane, but some of his story sounds embellished; particularly saying he lifted Scott's chin up/ punking him out in front of the boys. Friend or foe, being in front of Bigelow ( R.I.P. ) must have been something else. Bammer & Perry Satullo ( Saturn ) would have been an intimidating tag team
Would love to see that video on Rick Rude’s run there.
Good god, his fallaway slams are poetry in motion.
great video
