Apex Feels Totally BROKEN on Console Right Now . . .

- From the start of season 17 my game has not felt right when playing on my Xbox Series X. The game feels super off and inconsistent. It feels laggy and like I have high latency, and I'm not the only one with this issue. Hopefully we will get a fix in future updates if something is going on.

The issues seems to be random and also on all consoles. Hope it gets fixed soon. Also I said I hadn’t played on my series x but I meant series s. I’ve been playing on the Xbox series x all season and been in the range on my PS5 and it’s felt fine in the range for PS5 for me.
Update us when they fix this shxt cause I'm taking a break this season as well
I thought I was the only one ngl. Since I came back this season when I’m trying to track people it feels like I’m playing on a little input delay which makes it super difficult. And I know it’s not my monitor or anything and I’m playing 1 deadzone and 0 response curve 🤣

The new gen version of apex for Xbox has always had an input delay problem since S13 and they still haven’t fully fixed it yet.

A main issue i been having on apex is frame drops and it’s so annoying. Like if I look a certain direction I get 50 fps but I look at another direction I get 20 fps and shit happens mid gun fight. I really wish there was a fix
I’m also experiencing the prediction error message when fighting and hitting any heals. Have not figured out a solution yet. I’m on Xbox Series x. Also getting a lot of dead slides, and shot behind cover.
i've been feeling this delay since i switched to console i just don't know why we don't have an option that make us turn off v-sync on console.

I’ve had the same thing I feel like my hip fire and my stick isn’t registering when I move it it fells like I’m moving in mud

Yeah I play on PS5 and my sim assist varies way to much between the firing range to the actual games. I’ve fairly new to this version of apex since I haven’t played in a few years, so I’m not sure if there’s always been a difference in aiming in the range Vs actual matches. I also feel it very match to match and sometimes even fight to fight.
Definitely I hope you make a video on the new rank like it's just not apex like I'm in d2 hahah I'm bad at that game and it's cool to get diamond but I didn't earn it and it just feels like no one is taking it seriously anymore.
Hey I'm new to your vids but I will agree it does feel off firing range it feels way more consistent no matter how I adjust my alc settings it doesn't help it seems sped up to the max after just a little change or slower to the point I'm like an AOL start up its bad
I feel the same, i changed my controller, this delay still remains
The only issue I had was the game freezing on PS4 and PS5 for a few seconds at a time during matches. I couldn’t fix it on PS4 but it usually happens at the beginning of every season or update and goes away on its own. On PS5 I uninstalled and reinstalled and it fixed the issue for me. Hopefully it doesn’t come back.
its and issue that apex has not even added cross progression cause i have a pc that runs 240fps on apex but on top of that they have not even added 120 fps for console. when i play other games on my pc then i switch to a 60 fps game it feels weird

Ps5 player here. I feel what ur saying about noticing the aim feeling off. Horrid input delay, screen tearing, constantly on 100 ping even though I’m on wired internet, get 30 ping on cod or any other game. Playing against tap strafing pc players when I’m on console, should be just console vs console unless u have a pc player in ur party only noticed it being a problem 6 months after I started playing when I start to see people doing impossible movement on console. Like whatever but why only now in season 17 am I seeing pc players on my lobby. I solo que so shouldn’t be an issue. And the worst part. Matchmaking. Can’t even play battle royale because the chances of my teammates not dyingn off rip are incredibly low, yet I have to fight 3 stack masters pred squads in pubs or ranked. Don’t get me started on ranked. I get teammates that drop to hide then I’m left to 1v3 current masters and pred squads. My brain.
It’s just a bad season for console players unfortunately

A think the delay was one thing being in a silver 4 ranked lobby and getting killed by a masters algs pro team Called the fire beavers was kinda the last nail in the coffin for me this season 😂

I tend to just warm up in the firing range with aim assist turned off so the inconsistent speeds don't affect me as much.
I can see that but sometimes for me it goes even slower than my aim with aim assist and I can’t train that

They need to release apex 2 with 120fps mode and low latency or input delay just recode the whole game cuz its to old

It’s all off tbh like I’ve just started playing pc controller and there’s no aim assist on console in comparison! Also playing on a weekend is whack compared to mid week like if you play a squad fair play that’s better but solo is unplayable just octanes running in dying straight away leaving everyone behind it’s just sabotage XD

Aim assist is bugged. That's all it is
There is definitely an issue latency as well but it seems that not everyone has the issue
@@wattyswrld I think they fixed AA it with the patch today. My aim assist felt like it was back to normal after playing today. And yeah I don't think I have issues with latency playing on my PS4 besides the fps dropping to as low as 20 which would cause latency. Is your frame rate dropping and causing latency or is it something else?
Damn I thought I was going crazy, I have two genuine Xbox controllers that feels delayed, I thought my first one was broken, got another and it's the same, like they feel delayed to where you are missing consistency, the game itself feels fine but my controllers are off, I used the Game Sir g7 Xbox controller and that works fine, feels smooth and responsive as it should but genuine Xbox controllers are sluggish it's weird.
