- There was possibly more that I could have put in here and I could have revised it to make it more concise but I feel like I got my point across. For the most part the game isn't as exciting as it used to be because the core gameplay loop, especially in higher skilled lobbies, is extremely boring and uninspiring. Apex needs to innovate their BR experience more and more to compete with other games doing the same. Three Strikes was a great example of how awesome Apex Legends is at its core when all you do is fix the issue of how short and missing of action most of the games can be. I definitely think that it needs some tweaks but it was a step in the right direction. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video!

I don't think LTMs will fix the game. Adding LTMs is equivalent to putting a bandaid on a cut that needs stitches. First they need to stitch the game by fixing the foundation of the game.
They need to fix matchmaking (especially for first time players, i'm sure it isn't fun when you only have a few hours of the game and you get paired against players that have thousands of hours in the game. Same for players that get teammates that are new to the game. It creates too much toxicity). This is also an issue in LTMs, so it doesn't make sense to add more LTMs when the matchmaking is still garbage. The same issues we have in BR are even worse in the LTMs since new players are more inclined to play the LTMs first before BR.
They need to fix rank as well, the matchmaking really screws rank up. There's times as a solo you get paired with players that are bronze level, meanwhile you go against three stack masters/predators. There's no balance when it comes to being paired with teammates and the teams you fight.
I'd include map changes as part of the foundation too. Each season, I think they need to make map changes to make things interesting. For example, storm point is a lot better with the changes they made. Next season we are getting a new map, so that should keep things interesting.
Once the foundation of the game is fixed. I think they need to add another playlist with random LTMs in BR. Team deathmatch, gun run, and control are fun, but they get boring pretty fast. They need to at least rotate more maps. It's always the same maps. Like a mentioned earlier, they need to fix matchmaking for LTMs as well. My team is either really good, or you get paired with really bad players (which i believe are new to the game still). There's been times in gun run that i get more kills by myself that every other player in the lobby and still lose because my teammates get less than 3 kills the whole match. There was a game once where i got 18 kills and won the game, while my teammates had like less than 5 kills each lol.
My point is game imbalance is what makes apex boring and not fun. As much as LTMs are needed, we'll still run into the same issue where your lobby is not well balanced. Don't get me wrong everyone hates losing, but when it's so obvious your teammates should not be paired with you because of the difference in experience and better you are than them; it will always lead to frustration. That's the main reason i only play during the weekends, since that's the only time i'm able to play with my squad. The game is a lot more fun when you play as a squad, meanwhile the solo experience is not good right now because of the matchmaking.

That's totally fair. When I want to watch a video of someone playing an action game, I want to see ACTION. I just suck enough to still have fun. Maybe some day I'll be good enough to find apex boring, but I kinda hope not.
To be completely fair, I had the most fun playing three strikes. I really felt that game mode had potential to be the core game mode.
After playing Apex for 4500 hours I deleted it and started my journey with The Finals. I still love Apex but after 3 longer years of hoping for legitimate fixes they never came. 3 major issues plague this game Audio, Servers and matchmaking and there has never been any long terms fixes, only broken promises. On top of that the OG devs said this game would be 90% gun skill and 10% abilities and this meta is completely changing now, plus as an above avg solo q player this game is pure punishment and more like a job. End of the day all I want to do is hop on a game and have some fun and Apex just isn’t it rn. The Finals definitely isn’t a perfect game but its brought back a lot of joy playing BR and a lot of the bs found in FPS games just isn’t there. If anyone is hesitant to leave Apex The Finals is worth your time fr

You're on point. Ever since the old devs left, the game has just gotten worse. You can see that EA hired people that would worry more about profit instead of the quality of the game. That 90% gun and 10% ability has become almost 50%. Don't forget about how a lot of players are cheating now.
So this is my take. I think the Apex legends community just got too good at the game overall. This isn't a casual game you can play and have fun with. It is the most difficult shooter on the market with its advanced movements and character abilities. I really don't see how Apex can appeal to a larger player base without changing its core principles. It won't ever be able to sustain a number one spot on any list. All you can do is cater to those who play now. Maybe They can reward players for engaging in closer ranged combat with more ranked points or something. This could make each game more action packed I guess, but only the truly dedicated will stay on the game for long periods of time.

There is 60 players in trios and duos (Trios = 20s x 3 players for each team) | (Duos = 30s x 2 Players each team) | ( S = Squads)
Every season once I hit diamond in ranked. I play rest of the season mix tape. Not even pubs. Ranked and pubs are completely boring. To many rats. The promotional rounds destroyed ranked people rating to get top 10 or top 5

The SBMM is so incredibly bad. i just got back into the game for the first time since season 8 and i’m in lobbies with people that have 4k badges and 3 milly damage. and no, these aren’t outliers. keep in mind, im a lifetime level 70!! SBMM needs to be fixed
If i being honest i would fr like to see some gameplay even if its like 500 damage rounds, but just to see that somebody ho doesnt have a zen still have such good aim is refreiching ❤

Configs is also a problem I personally believe it’s the same as using zen (using software to help you because it’s not bannable) and ea should find a way to deal with both

Bro didn't cover the main point of multiteam's or ending circles with low chance or people camping youre heatshield or even when the storm is closing that both teams sucide push each other when the storm is moving hella fast and only octane movement characters have the survival rate

When you look at other multiplayer games on next gens consoles and PC they have 80-100 players in the match and last gens version of the game only has 50-60 players in the match one of problems I have with Apex is they always behind everyone else Apex should've at least on par with them or be the ones that first got to it not far behind everyone else

the game core is still super fun and they just changed the maps I am definitely having more fun again but i feel like my point still is true for myself
1. Up the player count in duos and trios cause i land at the side and dont see a single person until there's 5 teams left
2. Buff the alternator.
3. Give flatline stabilisers
4. bring the apex mobile perk system
5. Make herilooms more common
6. Need maps with more cover kind of like olympus
7. Nerf aim assist by .1 cause console aim assist is too strong and 0.3 will make these mnk crybabies cry less but they'll still cry non the less it wouldn't even be that noticeable and will increase the skill gap more.

another solo q roller player complaining the game doesnt have anything to offer? dont get me wrong, no offense, but it makes so much sense in itself. and it makes me sad.
maybe try aiming and actually doing the movement yourself and get a team. play customs. flicks, microadjustments and crazy manual tapstrafes with complex teamwork can make otherwise unspectacular games unforgettable, juicy satisfying and insanely fun even after +5k hrs. on a whole other level than perfect tapstrafes and oneclips on every buttonpress versus bots. youre literally playing a stripped down game without much challenge - something easy to get into but with a long hanging skill ceiling. ive played solo and ive played roller. i agree, both combined make the game quite stale and boring after only a few hundred hours..

I mean no disrespect but I think you’re missing the topic of the video. It’s that the core gameplay loop of the BR matches feels way too slow and boring. I still feel like I love improving in mixtape and customs. No need to go after inputs as well, it’s definitely cringe like we are all playing a game we love anyway. And it’s another brain dead take tbh but I don’t like talking about it because all you mnk players are just trying to cope and bully the roller players into feeling like lesser players with no skill. unfortunately apex will NOT do anything about these issues and all others before e.g tick rate servers, cheaters, ranked, pubs etc. Apex legends is an amazing game best of all time br wise but the devs/EA couldnt care less and will continue to give events and useless changes to distract you from problems. They thrive in giving the bare minimum and im done with the game from today. When i ask people why they play this game they say stuff like ''cause they hate themselves'' like ffs it isnt worth it. Yes, all your hours and money will be wasted so putting even more time and money will not fix it. YOU could call this a rant, real or whatever and frankly i couldnt care less, as of right now whoever made this decision to make apex this way has successfully ruined the game.
