I just bought one of these in really nice condition, but tell me: Aren't the power, soft keys to left of screen, and numeric keypad supposed to have red lighting?

Hello there first of all thank you for comment.....but there is no red light on the soft button on the left side there is only a red light on the Power switch but the Frequency Buttons has no red light in it ...wish you all the Best Vy73 De Bert PA5HR

Hallo danke fuer deine Comment ja ich muss sagen das ich eigentlich so ganz gut mit dem ICOM756proII arbeiten kann aber habe ich bei diesem ein grosse eigen Rauschen welches ich auch mit der Noise Reduction nicht gefiltert bekomme, ich muss sagen das entaeuscht mich ein bischen aber sonst super Empfang und arbeitet gut kann mit zufrieden sein...danke noch mal Vy73 Gruesse de Bert PA5HR

Probably a stupid question but are these rigs still relevant in 2024? Ide rather get this than one of the current lineup of rigs 🤔

Absolutely. It has IF DSP which is excellent for filtering. It helps pull those contacts in when conditions are noisy. It has a real signal meter. This is important to many operators. It also has knobs for many common features that more modern rigs have buried in menus. I like big radios and I cannot lie. I’m looking at a pro 2 or 3 in the near future.

@@FClark-ov6dz ....funny isn't it, one of the main reasons I like it is for the proper S meter, size and buttons over menu's. 73s
