I'm thinking of getting a icom 756 pro 2 or pro3 when i upgrade to my general class license. Which one of the 2 do you believe is better, plus does the panadapter spectrum scope work the same on the pro2 and pro 3
You can use Antenna connector 1 or Antenna connector 2 on any frequency ... There isnt a limit on them as to what band the antenna connectors it covers .

Hi David , They really are a good radio, Most ham radios have very good noise Blankers .

Not much in it between the pro 2 and 3 , The 3 supposidly has a slightly better receiver , But i couldnt tell that was the case though in actual use.

I have the same ProII. I have to use antenna 2 on all bands from 15 meters and up. How are you using antenna 1 and hear anything on 10 meters?
