I went to Japan and read their literature on it. Man could not kill the Phoenix. Not permanently at least. The 500 years part only means that if it were untouched by anyone or thing and it just died a natural death due to old age. If I were to shoot a Phoenix through the brain right now (just with us assuming that they were real) it would die yes, but it would come back from those ashes after it’s body burned wherever it was left.

I seen one when I was younger, it was very similar to the image at 2:52 in this video, it was twisting and turning in on it's self and looked to be around a hundred ft or so across , it was at night over a hospital looking out of my backdoor getting some fresh air , I had to shut the door and go back in because it was too unbelievable to watch and it was freaking me out.

I went to Japan and read their literature on it. Man could not kill the Phoenix. Not permanently at least. The 500 years part only means that if it were untouched by anyone or thing and it just died a natural death due to old age. If I were to shoot a Phoenix through the brain right now (just with us assuming that they were real) it would die yes, but it would come back from those ashes after it’s body burned wherever it was left.
No one can kill the phoenix because he kill himself and apparently he can revive from ashes and the ashes cannot be kill right?

I seen one when I was younger, it was very similar to the image at 2:52 in this video, it was twisting and turning in on it's self and looked to be around a hundred ft or so across , it was at night over a hospital looking out of my backdoor getting some fresh air , I had to shut the door and go back in because it was too unbelievable to watch and it was freaking me out.

Interest video. However, I‘d like to correct something: Western phoenix is NOT known as "Rokh" in China; it's known as Bu Si Niao (meaning undying bird). I don't think the word "Rokh" is even Chinese. And the painting you included was Fenghuang, not western phoenix. If you look more closely, you will see it looks different from a traditional western phoenix. Fenghuang are East Asian mythological birds originated from Chinese mythology that reign over all other birds. Fenghuang don't burn nor are they reborn every 500 years; they are gods.
