- This is what I've been doing and creating lately. Painting, gardening, cooking, and lots of time with family and friends. Hope you enjoy some peeks into my art room, packing orders, paintings, and other random things!
This vlog is also a fun peek into my small business. If any of you are self-employed or aspiring to be, I hope this inspires you. I'm thinking about doing more small business content/studio vlogs, so you may see my filming styles change sometimes! It's been a very experimental time! :)

I’m loving your artist life vlogs, so I’m excited to hear you’ll be making more of them! Your paintings are beautiful and I’m glad to hear your business is going well! 💜💜🥰
I wish you would do a one-video course/tutorial showing how you do your floral paintings (and maybe a second one for your water paintings 😊) From how you decide your underpainting color, to composition, and show the whole painting process, without speeding up the video, or skipping segments. I know it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but for the ones who would watch it, they/we would really enjoy it!
Aw, this makes me so happy to read that a real time tutorial/course would interest you! I've been considering doing something like this as a course, and diving deep into supplies, toning the canvas, painting techniques, and walking through a painting step by step! Also, a side note, but I always look forward to your comments. You're a gem. :)

Wow, Columbus is looking great! Not everyone knows that Columbus has a thriving art scene with many excellent independent artists like Mira, but that's one of the reasons why we're so proud of our Sawmill Rd. location! We replayed the garden footage a couple of times to get a good look and it really made us feel cheerful. (One of our team said if you re-watch some of Mira's old videos, she drops in a Columbus Easter egg every once in a while in the form of a little drawing of the Franklin Park Conservatory.) Gardening, even if it's just a few potted plants on a balcony or window ledge, is a natural choice for artists- there's always something to draw or paint when you've got flowers and vegetables. And, don't worry too much about Mira's zucchini patch. In Ohio, when they start coming in full force, folks you hardly know will drop off a pile of surplus squash when you're not looking. Check your pockets and bags after a trip to the farmer's market, you might find a few!

I planted strawberries a while ago. 🍓♥
They are smaller when the fruit is growing the first time and in a very dry season they are smaller too.

You need more then 24 hours in a day! I don't know how you do it. Do you think you could ever do a painting of a guinea pig(s)? Or maybe something with the word "hope"? You have inspired me to get a sketchbook & start doodling & drawing some again. I have struggled with severe depression & bipolar disorder for a long time & gave up my drawing, painting, etc. You inspired me to start again. Thank you.

I don't know much about growing strawberries, but ive seen people paint pebbles to look like strawberries, so while the real strawberries are growing, birds peck at the stone ones and realise they cant eat them, and then when the real strawberries grow, the birds dont try to eat them - might be a cute little project to do

How are you enjoying the twins? My son had a boy and girl twins two yrs ago in Aug. They are such a joy and of course I get to babysit for them while they work since I'm close by. ❤ They have baby #3 due anytime within the next few weeks also! They're gonna be busy!

My aunt had a strawberry plant and whenever my cousins, sister and I played outside we would always grab some. We’re all grown up and have our own families now, but we all remember that! It will be a sweet memory for your twins too. Thank you for sharing this fun vlog! ❤😊

Totally understand the wanting to clean and declutter. It’s the influx of baby stuff that comes with twins. It is so amazing how much stuff such small humans need! Love watching your vlogs and your art journey. You’ll survive - my twins will be 27 years old soon, you’ve got this!!
Enjoyed your vlog. Our neighbor across the road grows grapes…wonder if the winds picked up some and carried some seeds to your yard. Your garden looks great. Beautiful view of Columbus on your walk. I used to work downtown. We live so close, but now haven’t been down there for years.

Ahhh! Your veggie garden looks so good! Mine is soooo weedy i'm not sure how my fruit trees are still alive haha if you feel your strawberries are too small you can add different fertalisers to either make the leaves grow large or fruit grow large. I literally filled my strawberry patch with bags of fresh horse poop and they grew so big.

My parents used to grow strawberries and they are always small. Wild strawberries are too.

I wish I could! It’s because of the new VAT laws that were implemented a while back. It’s hard for small businesses to get a VAT ID and ship to other countries, so we are struggling in that respect. 💜 Thank you for wanting to support my shop. I’m so glad you’re here watching my videos!
@@MiraByler I've read and heard about the VAT laws causing trouble, it just sucks. I hope they'll make it easier to get that ID in the future, because it's really sad. I'll just stay and watch your videos then and keep hoping that one day you'll be able to ship to Europe again 😊

Lol! It wasn’t inspired by that shirt, but it was inspired by a blue dress! I didn’t even notice that red shirt was similar 😂
I absolutely love your artwork Mira it's therapeutic to see and inspires me to keep trying with mine.
I have a physical disability which also impacts my mood at times with the struggles but thankfully I can pick up pencil etc and take myself somewhere different even if its just zentangles and blobs 😂 though I love and do try flowers, animals, folk art oh and the moon - inspired by 🫵 ( I tend to over do it with details and ruin things but I am trying to replace it with altering shades and tones in hopefully the right places ha). Watching your vids old and new with a sketchbook is my my go to when I have me time and need a pick me up, I breathe easier and feel happier because life can get so busy I forget to breathe and I'm late for everything! Thank you so much ❤ please be sure to have your own me time too, whatever that may be 🤔 lol.
