There are three spare nibs included in your Intuos package. You can find them in the back end of your pen. Simply screw the back of the pen off, take out one of the spare nibs and use the back end of the pen to remove the old nibClick here for more information about " nib".

Who else was incredibly surprised to find spare nibs in their pen! I've had mine for a couple of years and never knew XD
i think same
Was today years old and laughed hard!!!
just happened to me smh
For anyone having a lot of trouble like I was you can also get nail clippers to grab on to the nib and pull it out. but tweezers won’t work so don’t try that.
thanks, you saved my life :')
you fucking rock aahahha ty!!!
YOU ARE A GENIUS
thank you sm!!!
Life saver!! We were about to buy a whole new pen! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
For any of those having a struggle.
I'm gonna admit I was struggling to, because I accidentally sent the dull nib flying across the room with too much force.
-//Diablo's Curse\\ - mood
i was like ok so this man sent the nib flying across the room so i thought i pull it slowly while putting a bit force cus i think its gonna be hard to pull it, and i just sent my nib flying across the room too lmao.
lmao same and i screamed cus i got startled
Mine isn’t even coming out
I just did the same thing LMFAOO, i was very slow with it and STILL sent it across my room, actually insane@@vanroid8339
It's so funny I discovered watching this video my Intuos pen had spare nibs on the back of it!
My nib was so worn out I had to use small nails scissors, placed perpendicularly to the nib, to grab and try to pull it out.
Luckily I've managed to accomplish it and replaced my nib successfully!
thank you so much, i saw another tutorial and i thought i had to buy like a ring to pull out the nib.
Dull Nib went FLYING ahahaha
Instructions unclear - now I have a fire on my table. What do I do
Great video. If one doesn't pay attention to the angle it would be difficult to get the nib out. Mine was already super short but the method worked perfectly when I followed the instructions in this video.
it still doedsnt work for me
@@Ranaria_X try to increase the angle of cap to nib when pulling out cap.
I had NO idea it was this easy. Was struggling with a pair of tweezers lol. Thank you so much!!
The nib disappeared when i did this
i think it went inside or went fyling out
either way i put a new one in
im checking if it works

You're welcome Shawn! ^NW
OMG THERE ARE SPARE NIBS IN THE PEN WOW THAT IS BEST THING THANK YOUUUUU
Thanks for making this video. It finally works to chance that thing😂
lmao i had no idea it had replacements! thank you
I was looking to purchase some new nibs, when I came across this video, and learnt that there are spare nibs in the pen!
GENIUS DESIGN THANK YOU
I'm so excited, thank you
is this only for newer ones?
i have a old one and it doesnt seem to want to rotate
I felt soo dumb having to search this up and coming across a 24 second video...
My pen nib is extremely worn down. The pen edge didn't help pull it out, so I tried using nail clippers like the top comment suggested. Unfortunately, they were too sharp and now my nib is completely flat. Is there a way to pull it out like that, or will I need a new pen?
Me too, did you have a way to solve it now?
I used tweezer. It works perfectly and easily.
same thing happened to me.
What kind of nibs are compatible with Wacom Intous S bluetooth pen(4k)? Standard nibs? or thanks!
Hi, thanks for reaching out.
You are correct! You will be able to use Standard Nibs for your Wacom Intuos 4K pen.
I am also happy to inform that it currently is compatible with Standard Nibs (ACK20001), Flex Nibs (ACK20004) and Hard Felt Nibs (ACK20003).
I hope this helps but if you need anything else, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Cheers^DP
Ha ha, spagheti go brrr
Wery helpful, thanks!
There are some people who thought that the hole on their pen is a charging connector when in reality it’s a nib remover
I have a question, when you are writing or drawing using the pen, does the pen nib really move slightly up and down? Because I just noticed it today after buying a small wacom intuos 3 days ago. I'm still new to this.
Yeah, when you draw it pushes into the pen mostly to register the pressure.
No, I've never had it move. Maybe you don't have it in correctly?
Wacom i need your help!my nib is too small and i cant get it out :(
what did you do? I'm having the same problem. I think I even cut off some parts and made it even smaller!!
@@mariaelisaduque5610 i was stupid. I smacked it for not working and so i tried with scissors but my pen is just demolished

God bless you for this video
thank you
Thank you!
damn now it too short to remove dafuq
Dear Wacom when we shall change the nib? I havent opened my pen yet but from videos I see it is a long part. Is it possible to use it by taking it a little outside? When we decide that it is finished considering from a thrifty perspective? Thank you in advance. Wacom intuso ctl is the best present for myself in these days
This is late but when you nib is flat, becomes sharp and scratchy, or is damaged is when you should replace it :D
When it gets short and scratchy. For me that took several years. You'll know. It'll start scratching on the tablet.
hi wacom, what pen nibs are used for this model
Hi! I am planning to buy my first drawing tablet, and it will be a Wacom Intuos. Why do I have to replace the nibs?
The pointy end gets flat because of the use
My nib went from round and smooth to pointy and sharp
Klara H Use it as a weapon
what
Before seeing this video i tried to pull out the nib with my teeth😂
uhmm iam confused my pen's nib is short but when i pull it out its ike 5mm less then the newer ones. when should i swap nibs?
Kapsi yes by now your nib is either replaced, stuck in the actual pen or you have a new drawing tablet
Ty
Is the wacom intous 3 pen unscrewable like this ???? @Wacom
Please reply as soon as possible, would be a great help
nah they replied to somebody else a few months ago and said that the video is only for one specific pen 😕 (this is the comment -> czcams.com/video/IZH0I1E_rqE/video.html&lc=UgwKzBTjXBDJA7nCJ354AaABAg.925AHSzwJid925DCPHwYDP
I'm having a problem and i don't know if it's because it means i have to replace the nib or it's actually a sensibility problem. My tablet's pressure is crazy, when i'm not pressing it keeps drawing and i have to literally move the pen away from the tablet so it stops reading it like it's pressing. Is it normal? What sould i do?
Hi, thanks for reaching out!
I am so sorry to hear that you're experiencing this, and I hope this helps.
From your description, I am lead to believe that you have a stuck nib on your pen, so I kindly ask you to carefully remove the Nib with the nib removal tool or a pair of tweezers, and then allow the pen to rest for a period of 8 hours.
This should give it enough time to reset the internal mechanisms.
Afterward, please reinsert the nib (or a new one) and try again.
I hope this helps, but please let me know how it goes.
Cheers!^DP
Hello Wacom, I didn't notice the nib is too worn already, now I can't get it out, is there any way I can get it out other than pulling it out from the tip?
mine was too worn out so I couldn't get the tip out with the nib remover, my last hope was to slowly and carefully cut away at the stylus, kinda like u would sharpen a pencil, until the old nib was able to come out. I don't recommend this bc it requires kinda damaging the stylus, but it still works and that's the only think that worked for me
I didn't know the spare nib cap could do that :O
which nibs do I buy when I've used all of mine?
quick question, where i can get back-up for nibs?
The nibs are so long, why isn't there a mechanism to push down the nib from inside the pointer and use more length of it. Because we don't even get 1 cm of nib to use and rest of its portion is a huge waste.
i broke my pen in half while doing this
where do i buy some more or different nibs? my tablet is the CTL4100
Thank you for reaching! We will be glad to help you find the correct replacement nibs for your device. Please let us know, in which country are you located?
Please let us know about anything else that we could help you with.

Wait does this apply to the Intous 3 pen? Cause all I can find is a teeeeny tiny seam right where the rubber cover thing ends. And I can't unscrew that.
Hi, thank you for reaching out, we can gladly answer any question you may have.
This video applies only for the Wacom 4k Pen LP1100, for your pen, you can use some tweezers to pull out the nib.
Let us know if you have any question.

@@wacom Hi. Thanks for the reply. Do you know the intous 3 comes with extra nibs? The quick manual mentions them, but If they're in a separate bag, I can't find it. But I don't really want to buy new ones it they're hidden away like in some of the newer tablets.
HOLY FUCK I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I COULD TWIST THIS THING-!!!!!!!
What do I do if I can't get the current nib out with the tool?
Please how to do this with the pencil of Wacom one????
I- This helped me a lot, I thought of buying a new tablet to draw cause my wacom's pen are actually dull as f.
mine doesnt have any spare nibs in the end. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to come with them or not but it looks like it should :/
I have wacom intuos S and I wonder if I run out of nibs where can I buy them online?
where do you live?
Wish I knew this earlier. Mine's gone sharp and just scratched up the screen.
my gosh, i got the same issue lol
my osu! pen nib lived farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr longer than it wanted to in constant torture bc i didnt read the manual
if any or you are wondering how to get it out when the nib is to small
just use nail clippers its what i did
Hiya!
I didn't notice until now,my pen is now very short and I can't take it out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Is there another way to actually take them out.
And also that is why my drawing tablet ( Pen ) wasn't working very well…
Is there another way?
If there is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me I can't draw digital anymore…
Thank you for reading!

nail clippers! use it like tweezers and dont cut it. the blade grips it better than tweezers.
@@jacquelinemoreno1691 thank you! you saved me!
@@PIvaylo Thank you so much. I was wondering why my pen isn't opening from the bottom. Instead I had that tool in a separate holder to pull out the nib.
Wacom please help me. I'm from Peru-Lima and I bought the Intuos (CTL-6100WL) with the 4K pen (LP-1100K). I REALLY love it BUT I'm running out of nibs!!! and I can't find any provider that sells the replacement nibs (ACK-20001, ACK-20003, ACK-20004) or any other accessory. Please help :

If your nib is a tiny and dulled down as mine was, use tweezers. Came out on the first try.
me too, thanks :)
So, what happens if we run out? do we have to buy more?

The nip of my Pen is half flat half normal and when I tried to use the hole than I just pushed the nip in the pen so now it doesnt work on my tablet
hello can anyone plz help
abut a day ago i got a wacom intuos but idk how to get my pen to work i tried contacting wacom but they dont answer

The trick for me was: when you put the back end on the nip, bend down a tad then pull out. (Thank me later)
thx
What do I do if I already used to nib so long it cant be sticked into the removal tool?
Nailclippers helped. Thank you :)
What kind of nib should I buy for this kind of pen?
Hi, thanks for your question and your interest in our products.
In this case, you can use the Standard Pen Nibs, model name ACK-20001.
They are perfectly compatible with this Wacom pen.
I hope this helps, but please let me know if you need anything else.
Kind Regards, ^DP
@@wacom Thank you for answering , really appreciate it.
Am I the only one who put the next nib the wrong side into the pen but didn't realize it since it kinda worked as well lol
what about the intuos small pen
If you're having a hard time try using a nail clipper
whaat i didnt know you could use the cap as the remover!!
I can't open the back of it. Any tips?
I USED NAIL CLIPPERS I HAD NO IDEA
Works for me! (can't find my removal tool for the life of me) :)
The back of the pen has a hole which you can put over the nib and pull it out at an angle
Raven? ? Not all models do (mine doesn’t. Intuos Pro PTH-651) hence the nail clippers alternative. 🙂
Ok but how do I remove nib from the tablet after
I thought I was gonna damage it iI tilted it but guess what! Thanks
GUYS IF YOUR NIB IS TOO FLAT A NAIL CLIPPER IS THE ANSWER!!!!!
What if you snap the pen acciendently and the nibs are gone and you cant swap them

i cannot remove my nib with this method cause its too short how can i do?
Same, the nib is so short that can't pull it out with this method.
@Terasina Marchese I used pliers and it worked great
I'm having nib problems with my Intuos CTL 4100 tablet pen. It feels like the nib sticks inside so what happens is that the cursor stays on press/click even when my pen is lifted up/not touching the pad. I've tried all of the extra nibs, nibs from different tablets, pasta noodle (lol). Anybody else having this problem?
Thank you for reaching us! We are sorry to know that you are having these issues with the tablet's pen. In this case, please try to remove the nib and leave pen without it during 6 hours. This will reset the pen. After that, please put a new nib and test the device again.
Please let us know if there is still any problem after that.

My nib was a bit flat and I just thought It was supposed to be like that. Turns out I was wrong.
it got too short. what do i do
what do i do when i put spaghetti in the thing as a replacement... and then it gets stuck all the way in the back so you cant even see or feel it anymore?? please i'm desperate
Hi, thanks for reaching out.
I'm really sorry to inform you that spaghetti won't work with our pens, so on such a case you can try to use tweezers to remove the remains from the pen, and maybe a small piece of cotton on the tweezer or a needle, to clean the inside of the pen.
If you need to acquire more nibs, please let me know which is your tablet model.
Thanks!^DP
ok,,,
WHY would you put spaghetti as a replacement?? LOL. Tell me your joking...
where can i find pen nibs

this doesnt even look like the pen for my wacom intuos lol. mine has a blue ring and like, fake eraser thingy at the tip
i cant get it out
I replaced the nib but now it dont stops tapping. Even if it doesn't touch the tablet. Help ;-;
Hi Sofia, thanks for reaching out.
I'm so sorry to hear this, as by your description it seems you have a stuck nib.
This should only be a matter of carefully removing it using the nib extraction tool (should be included with your tablet / pen stand), and then re-inserting it slowly until you feel a slight click.
Please try this and let us know how it goes.
Kindest Regards,
^DP
@@wacom Hi! I've already replaced the nib and tried re-inserting it over and over, but it still won't stop selecting and drawing. Is there another way to fix this?;;
Hi, thank you for reaching out.
Please tell us what is your computer operating system version, your tablet model number and the Wacom driver version you are running.
Also, is this happening in one specific program?, if so, which one is?.
Thank you in advance.°VR.
Ok so here are my questions:
1.how often should you replace them?
2.what happens if all of them wear out, do I have to buy new ones?
Seriously nobody says anything about that , I need awnsers please
Thank you for reaching out, we can gladly answer any question your may have.
1. When to change the nib, depends on how worn is the nib.
2. If you run out of nibs, you can purchase more.
