    There are three spare nibs included in your Intuos package. You can find them in the back end of your pen. Simply screw the back of the pen off, take out one of the spare nibs and use the back end of the pen to remove the old nibClick here for more information about " nib".

    For anyone having a lot of trouble like I was you can also get nail clippers to grab on to the nib and pull it out. but tweezers won’t work so don’t try that.

    I'm gonna admit I was struggling to, because I accidentally sent the dull nib flying across the room with too much force.

    It's so funny I discovered watching this video my Intuos pen had spare nibs on the back of it!
    My nib was so worn out I had to use small nails scissors, placed perpendicularly to the nib, to grab and try to pull it out.
    Luckily I've managed to accomplish it and replaced my nib successfully!

      @wacom  Před 5 lety

      Hi, thanks for reaching out!
      I am so sorry to hear that you're experiencing this, and I hope this helps.
      From your description, I am lead to believe that you have a stuck nib on your pen, so I kindly ask you to carefully remove the Nib with the nib removal tool or a pair of tweezers, and then allow the pen to rest for a period of 8 hours.
      This should give it enough time to reset the internal mechanisms.
      Afterward, please reinsert the nib (or a new one) and try again.
      I hope this helps, but please let me know how it goes.
      Cheers!^DP

    • @mihaisilion4563
      @mihaisilion4563 Před 5 měsíci

      mine was too worn out so I couldn't get the tip out with the nib remover, my last hope was to slowly and carefully cut away at the stylus, kinda like u would sharpen a pencil, until the old nib was able to come out. I don't recommend this bc it requires kinda damaging the stylus, but it still works and that's the only think that worked for me

      @wacom  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi, thanks for reaching out.
      I'm really sorry to inform you that spaghetti won't work with our pens, so on such a case you can try to use tweezers to remove the remains from the pen, and maybe a small piece of cotton on the tweezer or a needle, to clean the inside of the pen.
      If you need to acquire more nibs, please let me know which is your tablet model.
      Thanks!^DP

      Hi Sofia, thanks for reaching out.
      I'm so sorry to hear this, as by your description it seems you have a stuck nib.
      This should only be a matter of carefully removing it using the nib extraction tool (should be included with your tablet / pen stand), and then re-inserting it slowly until you feel a slight click.
      Please try this and let us know how it goes.
      Kindest Regards,
      ^DP

      @@wacom Hi! I've already replaced the nib and tried re-inserting it over and over, but it still won't stop selecting and drawing. Is there another way to fix this?;;

      Hi, thank you for reaching out.
      Please tell us what is your computer operating system version, your tablet model number and the Wacom driver version you are running.
      Also, is this happening in one specific program?, if so, which one is?.
      Thank you in advance.°VR.

    Ok so here are my questions:
    1.how often should you replace them?
    2.what happens if all of them wear out, do I have to buy new ones?
    Seriously nobody says anything about that , I need awnsers please

    • @wacom
      @wacom  Před 4 lety +1

      Thank you for reaching out, we can gladly answer any question your may have.
      1. When to change the nib, depends on how worn is the nib.
      2. If you run out of nibs, you can purchase more.
      Let us know if you have any other question.°VR
