My friend takes hoops(meant for ear cuffs) and hooks the hoops over her ears(where the ear lobes are.. not the outside of the ears). She wears non pierced earrings. She puts little pieces on her earring cuffs to wear like dangling earrings)! You could also separate the earrings and wear the heavy pieces separately..that's what I do. I have a bunch of pliers and have learned on my own how to fix jewelry...
