Omgosh, I wish I had this when I was in my BSN program 5 years ago, but I am grateful for it now as it is helping me to sleep during the day with my current night shift RN position. I wish you both success with your studies! Y'all will make great nurses!!

I'm from NZ in a city where secondhand clothing is really trendy. When I visit family in LA they stick their noses up to it, they won't tell me where the thift stores are and will show repulsion to the treasures i find, it is hilarious. I really don't admire that consumer culture there which almost sees the more waste you produce, the more status currency you have. People need to be real, they are perfectly fine with sharing bedsheets with strangers at hotels and there are more pathogens on handrails and their phones than washed secondhand clothing.
Zabel Connor germs on your hands or germs on your genitalia? 9/10 that treasure you find is utilized less than brand new items. I believe in getting what you pay for.

My dad buys and sells too! Except he does furniture and other stuff. Recently he got a 50 dollar box of records and sold it for 700! It’s s great extra cash boost haha

it's so cool watching your videos because it reminds me of home. idk whether you have heard of it..but I use to live in Hillsville VA where they have that big flea market every year where you can get chicken on a stick lollll. it's about 30 minutes from Mount Airy. and watching your videos makes me feel like I'm home talking to one of my friends. I live in SC now but I miss the snow and the country mountains. but anyways I LOVE YOU. thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos

if you ever go to the thrift store and see like a black top that's kinda grunge looking or vintage, definitely pick it up and label it "vintage grunge oversized shirt"
i cannot tell you how many shirts i look for like that. especially if you look on the teens hauls, you can find some really nice purchases from that. and always look up the brand! that bumps up the price by a long shot.

I find like-new and brand new bras all the time. It's insane. I don't know who can afford to spend upwards of $40-50 for a bra and then basically just toss it out. I certainly can't.

I used to sell my thrift finds on eBay. I stopped because it got really time consuming, but you can make some good money for it. It's how I made some extra money when I was in high school. Lol

I love your asmr whisper and soft spoken, where most voices are too jarring for me. Also you are so natural and friendly, a lot of other ASMRtists bother me because they are so self-conscious and contrived. I am fairly new to watching asmr and I am pretty picky about the creepy factor. Hooked on your videos because you truly seem to be just a regular person relaxing with hobbies and chatting quietly with a friend. Sometimes with these thrifting- related ones I have to promise myself I will watch again in the morning so I can sleep, because I don't want to miss out!
I don't know why anyone would turn their nose up at thrifting! You can find some real gems. I recently found a beautiful ivory coat with the tags still attached - it was $90 and I got it for $15! You can't beat that. I loveeeeee this video. Your whispering is amazing (I love the southern accent) and I love learning about your ebay business. Thank you so much for the tingles!

A trick I use in the Thrift store is that with pants, if the waist can wrap around your neck, they will fit.
I miss thrifts stores so much! The best part about NYC is that there is sooooo much great clothing and the worst part is our rampant bedbug problem. If you are brave, there are amazing designer clothes for someone who knows what they are doing. You'd be awesome at it!

Hey Mary, your scarf made me think of something. A while ago I was watching a programme about obsessive cleaners and a woman showed how she meticulously straightened the tassels on her rug every day and it gave me ASMR! Do you think you could do a video where you untangle and straighten tassels/fringe? I was going to do one myself but I don't have anything with tassels! x

Hi, If you ever get a shirt like that again, and your afraid to put it in the wash in case you would lose the quality of the collar you can get Robins collar starch, now you would have to go looking for it but it's good to starch your collar or a swallow tail shirt.
