The poor tag on it after almost 20 years is about gone😭 haha. So sweet that you got the seahorse! I always appreciate you sharing your purchases from second hand stores, because so many people overlook the quality and variety of these stores. That's such a sweet story about your son putting himself to sleep with the tag on the seahorse plush toy. My younger sister (who's now 37) did something similar - while she sucked her thumb she'd rub the stuffed animal's tag back and forth between her fingers. It only worked with the satin-y feeling tags. She would always carry her Care Bear upside down because that's where the tag was :) When she wore through that tag, she used my Care Bear and wore through that tag too!
