20 years ago, a builder used a 1 liter mtn dew bottle,.049 engine, & wood wing & tail. These were a blast!
And I was worried about my scratch build not flying at all, bc of one side of the fuselage being slightly different to the other.
This gives me so much confidence 😂

You really don't need a pop bottle fuselage, the classic "pizza box flyer" is normally only a square bit of cardboard or foam board, fabricate a simple motor mount, then mount the motor on the front, hot glue a fixed vertical stabilizer directly on the flat wing, and use the same control system shown in this video.
