I absolutely love the Musical version of Spartacus, thank you so much for uploading this video.
A very underappreciated piece! Spartacus is simply excellent. Different to War of The Worlds, but then again, why should it merely be the same? It has its own unique character.
Spartacus is a very different beast to the WOTWs. At first l hated it hearing it for the first time after l was so familiar and a huge fan if WOTWs. I thought this is awful. It eventually grew on me when l distanced it from WOTWs and l absolutely love both albums now. Both masterpieces in their own way. This virtually unknown album is sadly very underrated and underappreciated IMO. I hope Jeff leaves it alone though because l hated what he did with the new generation of WOTWs.

Would love it if Jeff could re-record Spartacus with the original singers/recordings but with a Rock/Orchestra backing. The original (although still great), now sounds a bit dated with its Synth sounds.
Echoing @leethomas2155 , I'd rather he leaves it untouched, the fact that it captures an era (and hence feels dated) is precisely its appeal.
3:36 What? WotW is not funky and Spartacus does not sound like a film score. Spartacus has a very early late 80's early 90's pop aesthetic, whilst WotW is progressive rock oriented. Both mixed with musical theatre.
I heard nothing “theatric” about Spartacus.
