This Song is Part of a "not so serious" Concept Album wich tells the Story of a Metal Country and the King' heroic actions. There is a Movie wich they crowdfunded and is full of little eastereggs for metalfans
Oh nice to know, that's cool!
Have seen them four times live, they put on an unbelievable show. If you want heavier songs check out Torn Apart, Lullaby, Black Waltz and Silence in the Age of Apes. For a live song check out Regret/House of Eternal Hunt from Avatar Ages, a live stream done during the early days of the lockdowns.
Thanks for the suggestions! Definitely interested to check out more :)
I'm not usually into theatrics, but after watching some of their live sets, I feel like they put on a killer show. Bloody Angel is probably my favorite track of theirs.
Nice! I'm sure i'll get to that one too :)
great reaction! I fucking love this band
Hail the apocalypse is a reference to their song hail the apocalypse, it's an excellent song with a very strong groove but no clean singing, I'm not usually a fan of growls but bands like Avatar and Jinjer are some of the very few exceptions when it comes to enjoyment for me, mainly because they bring more than just harsh vocals, but also a strong groove and musicality to their songs
SO many amazing Avatar songs to dive into. A couple of heavier ones that aren't typically recommended or reacted to: The King's Harvest, Barren Cloth Mother. Hail the Apocolypse is a 'must'! (Good luck getting the riff out of your head!). I'd also suggest So Sang the Hollow, Tower, New Land for lows & to hear just how rich and amazing his voice is (since you've heard a taste of the highs with Dance Devil Dance.. Let it Burn is another great one with a killer high note, or 2).
I see I have a lot of material to cover! Always nice to have lots of music and stuff to react to, so i'm looking forward to it! Cheers \m/ Thank you for the suggestions :)
@@headbangersreact Thank you for the great reactions! 🤘
@@crystalrainfeather Thanks for watching! :)
They are very consistent in their work. It was the very first clip of the King era, but at the same time it is the epilogue of their featurette Legend of Avatar Country: A Metal Odyssey, which was filmed November 21 - December 20 2018 (for 24 days in 12-19 hour HEAVY work days, 1 day-off). Рost-production finished October 6 2019. Released at their official site November 22 2019, put in CZcams March 5 2020. A Statue of the King shot back to back with The King Wants You in 2017. Yep, Hail the Apocalypse is the reference.))) The girl from crowd was the guard in Dance Devil Dance.)) Helicopter pilot is their make up artist Emma Falkensjö, work with them since Smells like a Freakshow video and still.))
Reaction to New Land, please.)) Or King's Harvest.
oh wow! Thanks for the info :) Added New Land to the list :) Cheers! \m/
@@headbangersreact You won't regret!)))
nice
Thank you for continuing with the Avatar reacts! The brand new album is finally out. You reacted to the title track Dance Devil Dance and The Dirt I'm Buried In. Guess we gotta wait if you wanna react to a new official video. The new album is pretty stripped down and raw for Avatar as a whole. Which is good. They try to keep different on each album. But it's still got some Avatar quirkiness, which their fans love. Just another way to display their talents. I always recommend a great live show opener piece, Glory To Our King/ Legend Of The King/ Let It Burn at Club LA in Destin Florida as an intro to how they are live. The music is serious but metal is still about the people and can be fun. czcams.com/video/cTb-yjOy0B0/video.html
What no Jinjer or Arch Enemy reactions?
Nope, not into sung female vocals in my metal, just not bands i'm into. They're good at what they do but not my thing :)
Talking Down About The Band You Are Reviewing, Is Not A Good Way To Begin, Sorry🤷🏻♂️
Fair enough. I just give my honest opinion. Can't please everyone :)
