Armata Strigoi is actually about Vlad the Impaler or Vlad the III a Wallachian (part of modern-day Romania) ruler who led brutal attacks against the Ottoman Empire when they invaded Romania, attacking at night disguised as turks slaughtering hundreds in their sleep including three high ranking generals and almost the Sultan himself. When the turks finally reached the capital of Wallachia they found it deserted and filled with the impaled bodies of turkish prisoners of war. Vlad the III became the inspiration for Dracula and modern-day vampires, the name Dracula actually comes from his nickname "Dracu" which meant dragon in ancient romanian and later became a term referring to the Devil and demons in general.

AFAIU, Strigoi can refer to various type of undead depending on historical and geographical context. Often some kind of vampire or banshee.
Draculea is "[son] of Dragon" with "Dragon" being his father Vlad II because of his membership in Order of the Dragon referring to the dragon defeated by St George.

I have never in my entire live, come about a video of a life version that sounds better than the studio version. Yes it might capture some parts that only happen during life concerts, but those are really only better if you are actually there. The soundquality is most of the time rather lacking compared to the studio version. The latter just always sounds more clean.

Strigoi is a mythological Romania creature. It says that strigoi are the evil spirits of the dead, that appear either in animal or ghost like form and have an unending thirst for blood. They are shapeshifters but can also mind control people how are in a weak mind state ( drunk people, people with mental issue and so on). Also there name is a derivation from the Romania word "Striga" which means screaming. They have this name because of the screeching and horrifying sounds that they make late at night. Plus this song also make a reference to Vlad the impaler and how he and his army attacked the ottomans when they tried to invade Wallachia ( which along side Transylvania and Moldovia make the current Romania ) at night disguising as ottoman soldiers and infiltrating in killing 3 generals and almost killing the sultan himself. When the sultan finally reached the capital of Wallachia, all the people there where gone along side the impaled body's of the ottoman soldiers. Vlad the impaler also inspired Dracula, coming from Dracu which is the Romania word for devil but also means in Latin Dragon, which is from the order he was in, Order of the Dragon ( Ordo Draconum), an order made to protect Christianity from the ottoman invasion.

I was at the live-show in the video you showed for Fire and Forgive. It was at summer breeze festival in 2018 with a crowd of 40.000 people. You mentioning the Scythians reminded me of Scyth by Hulkoff which is about the mercenary work of the Scythian tribes. Other good songs by then are Einherjr which is about a modern day Viking willing to die in combat, Last of the Dragonriders which can have different interpretations and Ibor and Aio that has Joakim from Sabaton singing. The only problem is that only Last of the Dragonriders has a video and it’s a lyric video. So it might be hard to find anything besides the art of the cover as a video.
Clarification: When I said Last of the Dragonriders, I meant to say just Dragonrider. I got the lyrics and title mixed up. Also, the descriptions I gave for the songs are what I believe they are and can be interpreted how one wants when they listen.

@@MetalAcademix i mean the reference to the song armata strigoi. While they have their origin in romanian mythology, In modern pop culture the strigoi reference the slovaquian vampire, such as stoker's dracula. So, armata strigoi translates as " army of vampires".
While i already knew this, it took me 5 minutes to search for the info again. My pinta then is: if you are going to be talking about something you should know at least the bear minimum as a sign of respect for your audience.
I see this again and again: youtubers reacting to videos make gross mistakes when talking abot the artists they're reviewing or show very little interest in actually knowing what the artist is about.
My 2 cents guys, it's really annoying.

I appreciate you getting back to me, Jose. Critique is best when it's concrete, then it becomes useful. Armata Strigoi was something many în our audience wanted to engage with, as you can see by perusing the comments. Sometimes we are happy to ask the public to contribute with their own thoughts and information 1 an exercise in the wisdom of the crowds, if you wish.
