More dredging with the Bucyrus Erie 15-B and Caterpillar D4

We moved further along the south side to continue dredging and spreading the silt. Next time my brother will try to mount a GoPro camera to the boom and get some video that way.

Dear Steve I love watching that dragline but have a question about crains that pulley short way up the boom if that for when you use a clamshell bucketor a item needed to be steady can you explain it on the left side of the boom

It's called a tagline and it is for clamshell work..

Thank you I always wondered what it was for as most of the time it was on the clamshell bucket or they use the one cable with a hook or holding something
