  • Have you ever avoided sitting on the end of the sofa where you don't have an end table to put your coffee or favorite beverage?
Good news, with a few simple tools and materials, I will show you how to make your very own DIY Sofa arm table and is flexible enough to adjust to just about any shape and size of the arm. Now you can enjoy sitting anywhere without having to worry about where you're going to put down your drink.

Thank you for posting your video. It is exactly what I needed and a little humour thrown in for good measure. Your instructions were really clear and you were very thorough. I feel I will be able to make this just based on your video, so I appreciate it very much. The only negative for me is the background music because it makes it hard for me to hear you at times. But this is more my problem than a fault of the video because I experience this in many youtube videos. Fortunately, you have the transcripts here and that too was helpful. You thought of everything! Cheers!

Nice job, I have a CNC so would use that for the circle. Also to ensure it stays level I would clamp temporary cawls on the top and bottom to ensure the slats don't move. I would also finish with an Auto Clear coat to ensure heat resistance. Taking it to another level lol! I have 2 orders for these so may post my result when complete

It takes a bit of skill to draw a circle with a router. Those of us who have shakey hands can use a radius tool that attaches to the router and to a hole in the center of the hole.

Great video, very detailed and excellent craftsmanship overall, marred only by the hasty and sloppy application of the backing piece! That would drive my OCD ass nuts! It might help if you glue a bigger piece that extends over the wood and then use an exacto knife to trim it flush, being careful not to scratch the wood! Cheers.
