George Carlin Why I don't vote
Patrice O'Neal - The Nasty Show
Anthony Jeselnik.
Carlin was a genius. Absolute legend.
His build-up and storytelling are unmatched.
You don't have to be a genius to see what is happening right in front of your face, you just need to pay attention. Yes, the way he sets up his act is genius, but life is right there with you, constantly. The topics he speaks about are every day occurrences. Most people are ignorant or just don't care about other people and what's going on in the world. They are so dependent on the system that they need it to survive. Everything is right there in front of people's faces to see. You just have to pay attention and not be afraid to live your life without the boundaries set forth by the 'men behind the curtian'. George lived his life, he didn't just survive it like most. R.I.P. brother.
Yes……he was!
@@Cloud_Strife0811right the man was a genius😂
@@Reason..or..treason-vk6cz "Thou shalt keep thy religion to thine self."
Words to live by... for ALL.
Carlin was the philosopher of comedy. He made you think while you were laughing
I agree.
He was a thinking mans comic.
The reason he put on the NYC t-shirt at the end was because this was the first stand up special he did after 9/11.
Ahhhhhh makes sense!
Carlin was always just a Ted Talk disguised in a comic show.
George was an absolute legend and we will not likely see another like him in generations. 💜
Real talk
Rights and Privileges is another great Carlin clip. He spits facts. A comedian who is more like a philosopher. Great reaction!
My mother put me in a private school as a child. Episcopal elementary. It was the most ungodly experience! Needless to say, I rebelled so hard it only lasted for a few weeks. Those nuns were the most vicious teachers I have ever come across!
Edit: I just clicked the like button and I was number 666!!! Am I going to hell???
🤣🤣🤣
100% dealt with similar situation
Ju st think when you get there you'll be in good company. Jim
@@bert0522You make no sense.
@@snowflakehunterhe makes perfect sense. Think about it, on one side you got the sheep, maleable enough and easy to coerce, brainwash, and control, and then on other side you got original thinkers, who question doctrines and dogmas and doubt, distrust, and are very critical when it comes to authority and get rebelious when pushed. Wanna bet they will be on same place you will? Heck even if it is hell at least can have some intelligent company to talk to.
@gv7217 I am sorry you went through that.
George was a genius.
George Carlin was a genius. One of his skits (Seven Dirty Words) became a Supreme Court case.
That’s when you KNOW your comedy is philosophical.
Carlin was a genius that was ahead of his time.
Carlin was a amazing comedian. I was lucky enough to see him in NYC in the late 90’s. He is definitely one of the GOATS!!!
Ahhh damn that’s fire!!!
Such a loss when he passed. I got my first Carlin album in, I'm thinking, 1971 (yea I'm old). Just imagine what he would think of things today.
According to the movie "History Of The World" there were 15 commandments but Moses dropped 5 of them and broke 😊
I think of that scene every time I watch a reacter to this video.
"I bring you these fifteen .
Oy veh.
TEN, these TEN Commandments from the Lord" - Moses coming down from the mountain.
Fr. That part of the story always confused the hell out of me. As a kid I never understood why he didn’t go back up the mountain and ask for the ones he lost. They all just decided those commandments didn’t matter? God just let them break them all cause they were irresponsible and lost them?🤔🤣
I like to think that those 5 disappeared commandments were the importance ones, not to be or treat others like an a-hole.
In the Bible there are 3 different sets of ten commandments, they are all different, and In one of them the last one is " thou shall not boil a kid in its mother milk".
Buy there are 614 commandments actually.
George on Saving the Planet 🌎
did that. check out our page. ✌🏽
George Carlin is the GOAT. I'm expecting more Carlin reactions. Run it up!!!
You guys should listen to "The Seven Dirty Words" from George Carlin
Modern-day philosopher.
350 years from now, people will study his metamorphosis from comedic actor to funny philosopher.
Am I wrong?
Carlin summarized this generally the way Chappelle summarized the women’s version of “100 ways to please your man” but Chappelle summarized it quicker w/ less words
As a child born in the 80s my dad let me watch Carlin specials when I was soo young. As I watch old Carlin clips I realize how much his stand up shaped my ideology. I'm thankful our households only religion was laughter. Stand up and sketch comedy was huge in my house. And as a result there was a certain playfulness that other houses didn't have. It wasn't until well into my 30s i realized that not all families had frequent food fights at the dinner table. One particular scoop of flying hot mashed potatoes and pepper seared and scratched my cornea. I wore an eye patch for a week. And that's just one example. Lol
In my case...I got to know him like a few years ago (I'm 40), só...I already was like him for myself...lol
@@Gabrielnobre I'm also 40!
@@jessicamahoney4610 That's so cool, what a coincidence! LOL Wish you all the hapiness! ^^
Almost to 9k folks. Let's GO!!

George Carlin is a true genius.
George Carlin was a true New Yorker, born and raised 🗽
Check out his Seven Words you can’t say on TV!!! One of his first great routines! It’s a classic! 🤣
*Ralphie May (Politically Correct)* making fun of Black Brown White Gay Etc.
You ask any top comic: who is the best? They all say Carlin & Pryor. IMO, Chapelle, Burr and one or two others are in the conversation....but Carlin & Pryor wrote the modern-day book that the rest follow.
11th commandment: thy shall not get cought.
SPOOKYYYYYYY LANGUAGE!!! 😊
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Please review Carlin's "List of People Who Ought to be Killed." It's a bit longer (20 min) but I promise it's worth every second!
We got that one coming for sure

There are only two sins... Ignorance, and Excess.
And only two virtues... Knowledge, and Moderation.
I have had the privilege of growing up watching him. Started watching him in the 70s and I was so sad when he passed away. So much more than a comedian.
Carlin was philosopher. Great reaction you guys gotta do the abortion one he did
Thank you bro and will do
You two have really grown on me. Love yall...keep up the good work.
George Carlin, the blunt truth in a world of lies. Enjoying your reactions, best of luck with the channel.

Man, i never realized the "dont commit adultery" and "don't covet thy neighbors wife" either!
Carlin's bit on 'Soft Language' is his masterpiece, even more than 'Stuff'.
Please, watch that.
Ten Crack Commandments is low key a lot of people's favorite Biggie song.
I Got a Story to Tell is the other one.
George Carlin - We Like War is another great one to reac to;) Also George Carlin - Extreme Human Behavior (the longer clip of it)

George Calin was not a comedian. He was a philosopher with an incredibly good sense of humor! And 500 years from now, people will still be interested in what he had to say.
I think so too man definitely seems like a smart dude on top of real
Coveting is wanting the thing, adultery comes after the wanting lol
George and Bill Burr *HAD* to be related to each other somehow throughout their "family trees"!!! 🤔🧐😆😤😡🤣🤬😂😆...
Ahahahah maybe so
Too bad Burr ain't funny, he's just a cheap clone of Carlin.
If you have not yet look up Soft words by George carlin.
George was always on point when it came to the grift of religion
❤️
Try Brian Regan, emergency room 😆
To me, you can really get it down to one: don’t take from others what they don’t want taken. Life, property, health, bodily autonomy, dignity and respect for identity. Everything else is just stuff to control you.
Baseball vs Football
Great bit
Silly
You should definetely react to: George Carlin - 4 groups that gotta go
God talked to all those people in the Bible and never mentioned the land on the other side of the world.
neat
Carlin was wonderful in b both his insights and comedy. As an aside, for observant Jews there are something like 613 mitzvoth or commandments. The Ten Commandments are just the first ten.
Yo check out I ain't scared you .by Bernie Mac stand up segment..
Sco Ducks!
I'm not arguing any point he has. But with the honoring your mother and father thing. He's right 100% those things should be earned and that's how society strives to live today. That's why organizations like CPS exist. Of you don't deserve to have kids we try to make sure you don't have kids. But he did make the point that this was written thousands of years ago. Written at a time And place where Society was familial but it was also Way more social than it is now. They lived then the way many very conservative muslims live today in places like Afghanistan. Family units but VERY close to the other families in the community. All that to say parents in general all raised children the exact same way because that was the culture. And it was much more important and public than it is now. So honoring your father and mother kind of was a given then, because there really weren't bad parents. EVERYBODY was a bad parent... Or a good parent depending on your opinion.
hey i paired it down even farther
there is one commandment
"thou shall not be a dick"
literally.. just don't be a dick..
carlin said it as rufus in the bill and ted movies "be excellent to eachother"
*Ralphie May P-O-L-I-T-I-C-A-L-L-Y C-O-R-R-E-C-T* there's two versions the one titled like this is better where he's wearing the grey & black ECKO shirt
The only commandment that is needed is : thou shall not be an A-hole
Yes, GC is very wise and knows how to get directly to the point in a comical / satirical way. I agree with most of what he says about the 10 Commandments. However, I do disagree slightly with his interpretation of the 10th Commandment. "Coveting" is NOT just about want things "something like (/ similar to what) your "neighbor" has". It meaning (bad translation of the original and cultural Sanskrit) of the time it 'supposedly' happened, it is very different than he is insinuating.
Coveting is / was more about the sin of Envy and wanting (SPECIFICALLY and EXACTLY) what your "neighbor" has. Hence, you would be thinking of murdering, stealing, committing Adultery, or 'bearing false witness' against your neighbor in order to possess what you were "coveting". This process was EXACTLY use during the Inquisitions and Witch Trials (but also in other moments in history) to take away property, rape, murder, and slander the reputations of women (mostly) and anyone else who had 'something of value' worth taking.
I do not understand why people think the Goat Herders Guide to the Galaxy is relevant at all?
It was written by a bunch of people who didn't use toilet paper and thought thunder was their imaginary friend in the clouds taking his sandals off, they do not strike me as very intelligent people.
Respect her? ♥
3:05
You're not wrong.
The Judeo-Christian God was originally from the Canaanite pantheon. Not many people have that context, but Yahweh was originally the god of blacksmithing from that older polytheistic religion in the area, so when He is referring to other "false gods," he's referring to the other gods not only in Egypt, but also in his own original pantheon.
Adding that context, Yahweh has literally gotten jealous over people worshipping what could quite possibly be his wife too much for his tastes (the name "Ashurah" is used for statues put up in her figure's honor and then destroyed later. Ashurah is the main consort of El in the Canaanite pantheon, and since El's role was essentially dissolved and given to Yahweh, it's possible that they were still in a relationship at least initially.)
That is a kind of crazy that requires actual fucking therapy. 😅
LOVE THAT LADY WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) ♥ LOVE TOP FUEL ALWAYS!!! Really LOVE THE REACTION!!! Victor Wooten bass music????????? :) “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” ~ Romans 15:13
I love Carlin for real, but SOME of his ideas are a bit outdated (this is not one of the 'sets' that has that problem) - if you want similar energy in modern day, react to some Lewis Black!~
Cheating is a form of dishonesty, but having multiple partners isn't cheating if everyone knows about it and is okay with it, so I'd just call the whole thing "Thou shalt not be dishonest." I also don't think telling a lie is necessarily a bad thing because sometimes a lie is required to protect your values or to protect people from those who are bad. What kind of person promises their best friend that they will hide them from a bad guy, and then when the bad guy asks where he is, tells the bad guy he's there hiding in his house? Do you tell the bad guy the truth and have lied to your friend, or lie to the bad guy to remain honest to your friend? I would rather focus on what is right more so than what is honest. What is right tends to bring honesty most of the time anyway.
Also, killing isn't always murder. Murder is when you do it because you want to. You can also kill in self defense or the defense of others, and that is perfectly okay. And no, the death penalty doesn't count as killing to protect others. That is killing as a punishment or at least when you don't need to, which is murder.
So my list goes something like this:
1. Thou shalt not be unjust.
2. Thou shalt not murder.
3. Thou shalt not be hypocritical.
4. Thou shalt not reject reason.
That's about it right now. Maybe one day I'll get 10 of them, but I doubt it.
Please react to Louis CK 🙏
