Which didn't include games like Little Red Hood, Action 52, games by Tengen (despite their quality), games by Codemasters, or games by Color Dreams/Bunch Games/Wisdom Tree.

Yes, an 8-Bit game that wasn't produced or overseen by Nintendo, should clearly have legal action taken against it for the developers trying to sell players on the idea of living out the fantasy of a baseball league manager, a game where the point is to play baseball as you control one of every team player. That makes total sense.
I'm sorry for the kid's disappointment, they could have just simply moved onto a different game, expensive as the medium was for the time. But in the end they made a news story that's being remembered even today.
