Yeah I need to get that oil top end thing for my money pit (I mean Bandit). I also NEED that over sized oil cooler. ANd the pimp clear clutch covers ...
No geometry problems with fitting swing-arm...also dropped a GSXR 1000 rear shock in to raise it up also...didnt use the rubber chain slide...thanks for the comments!
Cheers mate! Took about a year and a half to sort her out.... but wanted to keep the original shape of the Bandit, virtually every nut and bolt has been replaced and now have the rims colour coded...dynojetted and filters she reached 160-165mph on the clocks and wheelies like a bitch! Would I do it again? Only if I'm lookin' threw outta the house! ;-) Na...it was well worth it!
That bike looks and sounds stunning. A friend of mine had a 1200 all red, plenty of Crome but a black seat. Looked nice, im going for my test soon and I'm looking at getting a Bandit as one of my first bikes once I passed, highly recommended?
irmairs pal sweet looking machine, currently building a 12 myself, question on the jmc arm , the chain slide piece ie the rubber piece on the standard arm, did you re use this on the new arm or run without, any wheel geometry problems , cheers pal ...... joe
Nice clean build 👌
Very tastefully done, beautiful bike.
cheers Bud...time and effort well worth it
Cheers Buddy, yeah it stage three Dyno jetted.....ran like a bag o bottles before ...jetting made a massive difference!
Sounds great too. Such a mellow tone from an open (?) 4-1. Looks impeccable. I prefer the OEM headlight, but this is really nice anyway.
Nice bike
