Great video, well explained and will save some pennies. Garage will charge £35 with the filter where I am. Can probably get a filter for less than half that price and do it yourself ❤
Indeed, pennies make pounds specially in 2023 where every inch of a penny is being squeezed if your hands and tools can do something that’ll cost you, you rather do it yourself for free. Labour charges in this day and age costs a fortune as every one has someone to feed when they go back home…
Great how to mate. Please could you do a video of the android system. There are only foreign ones on you tube. Really interested in getting it. Is any coding required etc?
robin groves there’s a push down clip on the tip of the light you hold that down and pull the attach-meant off trust me it’s not hard don’t pull on the cables
When it has been replaced should u put the air con on for a few mins? I’m changing mines tomorrow as the smell is bad but will they smell instantly go away or will it need to be on for a while? Cheers
After you’ve changed it put it on and if it still smells you need have you air con re gassed up very common for smell to occur when air con has lost charge of the gas
@@CAR_SOLUTIONS appreciated mate thanks, the air pressure is fine and hot and cold works fine just a horrible smell so hopefully it’s just the filter but if not I’ll get it re gassed, cheers
Hello, Difficulty is about 7/10 You have to fiddle a lot to get all the cables in as long as they aren’t tangled up and you put them around the back of the housing you’ll be fine Around my area they charge about £50 to fit them in so if your not too good with cable management just get them to fit in for you Other then that it’s as easy as swapping over a HDMI cable on your tv everything fits into its own place
@@afcshahid forgot to mention it’s from eBay if you haggle with the sellers they reduce the price choose one that is open to offers 👍 you get satnav, reverse camera, CZcams, Bluetooth and much more worth the £££
Not too sure as it’s been a year since I’ve done this video but I doubt it to get full access to the stereo wiring loom you’d have to remove the stereo as it is right behind there but what you will find behind the glovebox is the fuse box
Thanks mate I just needed to wiggle woggle it aswell
😂 fantastic if it worked ✅
Great! My son is picking one up tomorrow. I have changed So Many Airfilters! Some have been awkward..... This looks easy.
This is a very decent and easy one change :)

Thank you just changed the filter 😀
Great vid, like the wobble wobble 👍.
is arrow down correct? , i thought it looks like the fan is below the filter so air flow up?
Got an astra J recently, I hoped you can just pop the glove box like in a lot of other cars... Nope😆 thanks for the vid
Well done , thank you very much , very well explained 👏👏👏👏

elad1962 No problem at all now it’s all about the fresh air in the car through the vents :)
The perfect tutorial to fetch out an awkwardly placed filter. 👌

Gary McKeown I will have a go over the weekend so keep and eye out for the video 🤙
Great thanks I will subscribe and click the notification too. Cheers.
Hi mate, have you managed to make video of head unit yet?
Thanks great vid :))
Could you please make a video about rear light fuse change ?
Money , Swag & Muscles sure will do this week the fuse or the bulbs?
Thanks my friend, really helpful.
Thanks for the video.. Can you please confirm how often should pollen filter be changed?
No problem pollen filter should be changed 15,000 to 25,000 miles, or once a year fairly cheap to replace
@@CAR_SOLUTIONS Thanks, I bought a used one in Sep 18, so I think I'll replace then.. just in case :)
How’d you get the light off please?

You should clean the area properly with air or hoover
elbowtoe 84 2:35 of the video does say give it a clean over... I wouldn’t use air... hoover would be the correct procedure if needs be...

Can changing the pollen filter prevent condensation inside the car?
What size spanner is it to remove the screws??
Is the onstar box located behind the glovebox aswell?
Hello bro, you said you had a android system fitted in, where do you get from and how much? Is it hard to fit in?

Does the glovebox removal also give you full access to the wiring loom from stereo to left side of dash and into passenger door?

Just replaced mine. Was literally stinking awfully. It was an easy job.
How often do change it?
Every year or two…
Glove box!
Where can I buy a used filter?
You don’t replace a filter with a used one ever…. You can get a new filter from euro car parts or a local car parts shop for under £20
