Rosé is best vocalist for sure. Her vocal range is the widest and her voice never sounds flat. Her high notes is more stable than other members.

i think their entertainment doesn't focus well on voice training, i think that's one of the factors that affected their vocal abilities.
Ikr. Their training wasn't really done by a professional. Like seriously yg taught them weird techniques as a result their voice is getting damaged slowly. Specially rosé's

Something I've noticed about YG is that almost all their idols have good potencial in singing but their vocal coaches are mediocre.
I think YG’s just not good at marketing vocalists and doesn’t know how to properly train them. Look at Jisoo. She has a great voice, but gets the least amount of attention. Constantly being pushed to the back of the music videos, getting the least amount of lines in their entire discography and only getting the most lines in one song (“You’ll Never Know”). Plus, I don’t think she gets much training to increase her vocal capabilities or at least perfect what she’s working with already. #JusticeForJisoo
And I totally forgot, they constantly make Jisoo sing in keys that are not naturally within her range but are better for the other three girls. She constantly has to adapt to the song and step up to accommodate for the song.
I don’t think YG spends a lot of time on developing vocal ability which is a shame, because Jisoo and Jennie could really use some vocal training

@@ANNIE_R_U_OK 2ne1 isn't close to Little Mix. The best vocalist in 2NE1, Minzy, would most likely be comparable to Jade, not sure who is exactly better between these two though but they are close. The rest is below every Little Mix members. 2NE1 at least has a better vocal line than BP. 2NE1 at least has 3 members who knows how to support; however, while Minzy's support is developed enough, CL and BOM are shallow. Dara doesn't support but her falsettos are decent and she has better agility than Bom but that's about it...

Fr, personally for me I think yg promotes Lisa and Jennie as triple threat and ace the most in blackpink, for example both Jennie and Lisa hit all marks in blackpink (dancing, singing, rapping, center material, and very demanding presents) and yg wants that. Look at all of yg old groups like Big Bang, 2ne1, they both represent that, so it's no surprise that both Jennie and Lisa have the badass imagine they do when it comes to group activities.

Jennie vocals are not joke, for me, she's my favorite because she can go for high notes, falsettos, low voice and she knows how to adapt to the song. Some examples: Love To Hate Me, Ready for Love, Bet You Wanna, Stay.

I hear ya, but as a singer myself who had problems- i studied technique for years and it actually made me worse because it hurt my confidence & got me too "in my head" & body. What finally changed EVERYTHING, dramatically, practically over night, was simply aligning my intention & emotions to properly manifest. It allowed me to connect w my breath perfectly, w/out even trying, really. I'm certain this would work well for others, too. Ya gotta have FAITH in what your singing, KNOW u can do it, & keep that focus trained tightly on that exact intention. Any singers read this, try it out and let me know how it worked 4 u! :-)

I wish people would actually realise that the thing they specialise in is Rapping. They objectively have the best girlgroup rapline among both 3rd and 4th gen kpop. Its the thing their company is known for aside from stage presence. Dismissing their talents because theyre not the best technical singers is the same as dismissing little mix's talent because they cant rap or dance as well as BP.

For K-Pop standards they are fairly decent. But for normal standards they're mediocre at best. But I'd argue that they don't have to be considering that they are not a vocal group.

Rosé- she has a beautiful tone and recently she has been using a good technique which makes her sound healthy
Jisoo- I don’t know why teddy doesn’t use Jisoo’s deep voice she sounds so beautiful with her dark tone and her voice sticks out the most.
Jennie- Since KTL she has improved the most with her vocals. She knows her voice well.
Lisa- has a sweet voice and is a good sub vocalist. Give her more singing lines.

Jisoo is such a great vocalist and she brings so much to blackpink songs, her parts are the most recognizable and often my favourite. I like her different tones and how she can sing so well in the lower range then switch to the higher falsetto singing. Her recent solo debut just enhanced her vocal abilities and she got to shocase more of her talent. Hope she continues to shine

I think what people forget is that not all Girl Groups needs to have vocals and be vocally excellent. They are more focused on Dancing, Visuals and being on key. The only song I have heard from them that has High belts is Ice Cream featuring Selena Gomez. They are an amazing girl group who don’t care about high belting or High mixing. They can do these high notes but its not their objective

I'm a Mixer it's fine if they (BP) don't have the best vocals but we have LM as a Vocal/PopGG in this gen. and BP as the Dance/Kpop GG in this Gen. the Girlgroup this Gen is good in their own ways and ofc. There's a lot of GG this day but i guess the 2 groups are a little dominating this gen. No need comparisons between the 2 they are both great and good performers overall.

Jisoo can sing perfectly while performing and she can sing low and high notes perfectly and harmonizing which is backbone of any song .she is gud in that .

It's easier to access higher notes while you're out of breath. Or maybe in studio the lower range was better for the song, but she's more comfortable in a higher range

They’re all a bit pitchy, my favourite tone has to definitely be Jisoo and I think Jennie would be my favourite if she got vocal training, I like her strong vocals with darker tone. Always delivering great content, thank you!

For me, I think they're good enough for their girl crush style of music. If they were to switch to like some innocent concept or Sistar/BESTie concept then I'd be concerned.

They ARE definitely under the average for 3rd generation Kpop, but this has a lot to do with their company, that is really rap-based(, which is noticable. I mean Jennie's and Lisa's rapping is awesome.)

I feel that Jennie tends to get shouty when singing and it’s unpleasant to hear.
@Applepie No, I actually prefer darker voices, and she’s not a bad singer, but she does tend to get shouty and that isn’t entirely pleasant. She’s pretty good but that’s something she needs to work on. Fortunately she’s a fantastic rapper.
Some of her parts really need shouting to sound good, but she uses that shouting in too many parts. Maybe because it's easier for her. I'm a blink but I don't really like it too.

She uses a loud voice to make scream crowd. For me, I like Jisoo's voice more than others. I want to hear her voice as the main vocalist but I don't prefer Lisa's voice. I think she can't sing as well as Jennie (even some people think that she shouts) When Rose and Jennie collab they are perfect for me. And also Jennie's every part I feel music more than others she is emotional and adds feels to the song.

I think your scared should give to BlackPink as a group not just Jisoo because mostly BP vocal not use proper technique. YG give them staylistic over technique that make their singing not healthy. Use stylistic and wrong technique can damage their voice.

If the fans don't see the issue and keep praising Yg's vocal coaches Yg won't change anything.

@@andinho6372 what are you talking about? Do you know how many blinks and even Rosé stans say that Rosé should use more of her original voice that wasn't as nasally? A lot of people notice it and they're actually worried for her voice. Most blinks think that Jennie is the lead vocalist even though it was never confirmed and that's why they don't talk about her voice that often. I have seen so many blinks say that Jisoo should've gotten more vocal training before debuting. We don't even praise YG's vocal coach, we always say that the members should still get vocal training everytime so that they could improve with their voices. Half of the blinks don't think that blackpink are perfect singers, I myself am a blink and I don't think that they're all perfect singers. Even if they think that they're perfect singers, that doesn't matter. They're not perfect at vocals but they're not the worst at it either.
