Heard this song for the first time after my dog died and it’s now a song I play for him, used to cry every time I heard it but am past that now haha. This is a beautiful rendition of this song and dare I say better than their own. Thank you for giving me a lovely version of a song that’s dear to me 💚
This is such a lovely version of this song! I’m so glad I found you - your voice is just gold and I have been watching all of your videos on repeat the last few days:) please keep posting music!
Just love you .. You have an amazing voice and the listener can feel every word you sing . I listened to a lot of your other songs as well they are all so heartfelt.
I guess I am not the first one telling you that you do sound quite a bit like Kate Rusty (minus the thick Yorkshire accent of course), but of course that's meant as a compliment.
Why are you not more well known? Obviously it isn't due to your voice and skills with the guitar and harmonica. I use to play Jesus in The Passion in Moncton NB. I had a decent range but had more power. That was a long time ago. I'm 57 now. My daughter Naomi Clarke also performed in musicals and is a proficient guitarist. She has some stuff on YT. Look her up.I play too. More along the lines of Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty et al. Wish I could play harmonica. I was completely sold when I heard, " O Come O Come Emmanuel." I have a confession... I was a minister for 25 years! Don't tell anyone, it will ruin my reputation. If you are ever down my way, Sydney, NS, post it to your YT channel. Love to hear you play live. I'll get alot of people to come. I am persuasive. Again, am amazing talent! Cheers, Billy
Billy, love your comment haha! Cheers thank you. Would love to meet ya. I'm actually playing in Sydney this month. I'll be at Bretom brewing on the 17th! Come on down :-)
@@bethanyjune7345 Really?! No flippin way! I'll make sure my schedule is clear. I'll round up the posse! I feel like a kid getting an unexpected gift under the Christmas tree. I am over the moon. See you then!
Love the choice of song, love the harmonica (and the rack), but most of all I just love listening to one of the sweetest voices on the planet. An absolutely stunningly spellbindingly, beautiful performance.
