My dad's petition asks to upload parents' marriage certificate, but my mom's petition does not. Is there something wrong or does the system just figure out these 2 beneficiaries are married and only need marriage cert on one petition?

I have submitted my petitions to USCIS for both of my parents however I forgot to add my name as one of their children on “beneficiary’s family”. I just realized it now that I should have put my name too together with my two siblings. Is there any way to correct it or add my name on it or should I wait for the USCIS if they requires/ask for it? Thank you so much! 😊

I've put on unemployed on the first child but skipped that part when I was doing it for my 2nd child. 😢 Initially I thought it should be fine because it isn't marked with asterisk but now I'm worried knowing I've made a mistake. To be honest, I was rushing because I was doing childcare to my babies. Please don't judge me and please advice me on what should I do to correct that.

Hi @kseniyainternational. Thanks so much for your efforts and thorough explanation. I’ve always been nervous to start this process but your videos have given me the courage to begin just like you say at the beginning of your video, “ to enable us do this ourselves”. QUESTION: My parents have been married before I was born and still married, but from my country, marriage certificate is not such a big deal so they don’t have it. But because I have to start this process, I asked them to get a marriage certificate which they did but the certificate has been dated for the time they showed up for the certificate which was December 2023 which is recently. I’m 26 and not sure if that’ll be an issue because I think I saw somewhere that it says if parents are married before you turn 18. They were but just didn’t have a cert then. Please from that knowledge you have about this processes, what do you think it should be. Will it work for the application or not. For the current certificate they have. THANK YOU.

I'm filing for my kids to get their residence in the U.S. Some of them are here with me, and a few are back home. I have grandkids; some are under 18 years old, and some live here in the U.S. Should I file Form I-130 for my each of my grandkids, too, because I want them to get their residence at the same time?

I do have a question about the "Proof of legal name change" ( @ 39:15 ). My name has always been the same, so I do not need to provide any proof on my behalf, but as my parent had obviously changed their name at the time of getting married, and all relevant documents are in their married legal name, do I still need to provide proof of their name change (ex. marriage certificate) ?
As you stated @ 40:25 the previous 3 evidence sections are required to submit, but I was going to leave the "Proof of legal name change" blank. How should I proceed?
p.s. Thank you very much for making this video! It is very informative!

It says in the evidence “if you or the person you’re applying for changed their name” so it means you still have to provide it

Hi, what if my father is visiting with a tourist visa that allows him to be 6 months in the US. Meanwhile we are still in the waiting process for 8 months already. So part of the question is what if the decision is still pending but his 6 months of staying as tourist are almost done?

Hi Kseniya, my parents came into US as B2. The expiration date is December 2023. I applied extension for them and we received notification letter for processing. But I did not upload the letter to the application online. Would that be problem and it got rejected? Do I need to file I-601? Thank you for sharing these information to help all of us and people like us would like to do things on our own.

So I have a couple questions, how long does the i130 last for parents.
Will they have to renew their green card after 10 years?
Also, can they apply for citizenship once they have their i130 visa, and if so, how long until they can apply to become a citizen?
