My dear there is a difference between military presence and permanent military bases ! The countries you mentioned do not have permanent military bases unlike Japan & Germany. Nevertheless, west is essentially a neo-colony of the US

But to my surprise it's a whole different world. Sir, It hurts me to the core to see how anglophilic & left-biased things we'll have to study to be able to take an attempt at one of if not the most prestigious exams in our country(Teachers tell you that britishers did good to & for us & you have to subscribe to an utterly left-biased newspaper to even start preparing for it, The Hindu lol). Sir, Why are we, our government or any other related organization not doing something about it? Why is it happening in the first place? What can we do on our level to have a better & brighter future in this context? I mean, what is a country if even it's administration is not nationalist but anglophilic & left-biased?
If we look at Indian constitution making process, it was something similar to German constitution making process. What will you say about Indian constitution being inspired by GOI Act 1935 , other constitutions etc. And also it was done under Governor Mountbatten
